I have seen this bicycle lady in other videos. Where she places herself in front of the horse and guard. Way doesn’t she just place her bicycle to the side . I am glad the older gentleman told her to move .

You know ... if somebody in Uniform is shouting at you, wouldn't you think that you are definitely doing SOMETHING YOU SHOULD NOT BE DOING and move back! NO! He just stands there looking dumbfounded and ignorant instead. What an idiot. Even IF he was deaf, somebody with him should have told him what to do ... which was to get out of the arches.

Kudos to this trooper!! Move when she tells you to move! Don't stand and stare! You'd think with the tourist being an older man, he would be self aware, and know he couldn't just walk right into the guard's work space! Seriously, where did he think he was going? This guard did what needed, *yes needed,* to be done! There has to be more accountability for folks, as they are taking more liberties of everything and everyone around them.

Absolutely. Something has to be done. Was just thinking I don’t know if I can watch anymore giggling rude visitors who carry on as if they are at a circus. And yes, some aren’t sure where to stand, without ruining the courtyard, subtle but visible markings or signs whatsoever, so visitors will know where they can and can’t stand or walk. And lol. If I was a horse and I was touched and patted and leaned on, in my personal space - I’m positive I’d get mighty cranky. - sorry, end of rant lol 😊

There are no signs that say you have to stay out of the arch way. So it isn't the tourists fault. He is an old man. He didn't realize he was doing something wrong. There should be a sign. Or have it chained off, like the other arches.

The tall guy in a green beret is a commando of the Royal Marines, as far as I can work out. But I'm happy to be corrected. By the weather I think this was last Sunday. After a pleasant Saturday it suddenly turned unusually warm for the time of year (25°C, 77°F out in the countryside, would have hotter in central London). I was out of doors and the weather actually made me feel a bit unwell. Not what you need in a uniform.

They're military and under military orders. The guy had to be told three times. He didn't even make an effort to move until she approached him. It's a military location that they've kindly given the public partial access to for historical reasons. I don't think it'll be able to continue along these lines for much longer. Public access will have to be much less partial than it is currently. It appears that many visitors don't know where they are or what it's for. They appear to have done little to no preliminary information gathering about the location they're visiting. They just know it's on the list of places to "do" whilst in London and they need a photo with a Guardsman because that's what everyone else does. If they'd done 10 minutes of research on Google they could have found all this out for themselves before arriving. It is a working military barracks so you will probably get shouted at if you don't behave appropriately.

Okay, so just disobey orders whilst ON DUTY and sidle up to anyone over the age of 20 and whisper, ever so politely so as not to offend/scare? These are serving soldiers, not there for decorating the arches and mollycoddling tourists, so do get a reality check.
