Is it good as a survival & bushcraft knife? The video will answer that.
Testing the Legendary CCCP (Union of Soviet Socialistic Republics) AK 47 bayonet knife.
Actually the AK 47 bayonet I have seen is different, but I keep calling this one still an AK 47 because it is written on the knife itself.
The screw went off, so I had to repair it in the woods with the trusty Leatherman Wave.
Full lenght: 34 cm / 14.4 inches

I have these "AK-47" bayonets one of which has the 15cm blade, they are definitely not AK-47 bayonets, and probably won't take years of abuse, but as a general light duty camping knife they seem pretty good, the steel looks good and they feel quite sturdy for the price

those so called "ak47 bayonets" are actually a bootleg Type 30 bayonet fitted for Arisaka rifles, no idea why they came up with the name "ak47"

Can confirm, fits like a glove on the arisaka and doesn’t fit at all on the AK

I have owned one of those for more than a year, I can tell you that for the price its fine. Steel is 420 so dont expect the best edge but its easy to sharpen with anything Fittings and screws can get loose but a bit of superglue will fix most issues The inside of the tang is somewhat hollow so you can put some fishing hooks and line in there What I recommend doing when buying this knives is either getting an extra cheap sharpener and if necessary a complementary knife like a mora basic or a hatchet or you can buy a set of all the sizes for around 70 euros on amazon and you have all the knives you will ever need for every single task. Choices and mods I made: -Rotated around the guard to have the circle towards the blade and removed the other side of the guard almost completely for better grip when doing bushcraft -added a thin piece of cable under the guard to keep it tight -superglued everything on the handle -added fishing line and hooks inside the guard -filed the edges of the metalic part of the handle as it can get very painful to use when chopping stuff Overall a cheap knife you can throw everywhere and beat the crap out of it but remember it needs some adjusting and fixing before and after use. I would reccomend to tape the handle to make it more comfortable and not have to care about the

With a set of this knives, a few mora basics, a mutipurpose hatchet (with a crowbar and hammer), some cold steel pro lites and a folding saw you will hqve everything you will ever need on a budget

Got the same at 11 inches blade clip point. It substitued well a Tramontina '12 machete and being narrow makes a better design than best quality survival knives. Don't need a second blade since can be held near the tip. Is more like a Mauser replica. the AK47 is quite different.

Navíc je na nich něco pěkného.. asi nádech do červena při odrazu slunce vás zbaví depresí👍👍... Viděl jsem na amerických videích dokonce vrhání tímto nožem... Dost tvrdé a vůbec se nezničil ....

I do not know, but in my opinion, the original AK bayonet I have seen is quite different. It has hole to connect to the sheath and use it as a scissors for cutting barb wire.

Kobriak, what chance you have to defend yourself against a bear with this knife?
@KobriakKnives
@KobriakKnives 3 жыл бұрын
Not much. We have a saying here: If you have close encounter with a bear, it is his decisions if he lets you live, not yours. Maybe if you have the knife modified on a strong stick like on a spear to keep the distance.
