I really like this Gundams design, it's just beautiful

Interesting color system. Would like to see adurabily comparison between these and Vallejo Mecha paints. I normaly use AK Real Color laquers, but acrylics are definitly easier to work with.

I really love watching you work, the experience really shows. I love how this paint can work with brushing them on, i might have to try a couple sets of colors of them sometime, most gunpla focused hobby paints except tamiya and aqueous mr hobby really dont do well handbrushed, so this was cool to find out.

It is so frustrating trying to find any paint brand other than Tamiya, Mr Hobby and Vallejo in Australia so I'm sure I will need to import these as well

That looks pretty good! I still need to get an airbrush, but I really want to take my gunpla to the next level. I know trucolor runs railroad paints, which I need to get for painting locomotives and cars.

Another good thing about airbrushing acrylics is that they're usually not flammable and won't turn your paint booth into a flamethrower.

This is actually very helpful and comprehensive for my needs, I've been considering picking up airbrushing, but I live in an apartment. So lacquer is no bueno and there's not much in the way of acrylics with airbrushing, so this actually encourages me to try it. Once I can afford to jump into it😂

The durability would seem like a big selling point, but sounds like paint will still rub off the moving parts and joints. That’s what dissuaded me when I first dabbled in maybe painting Gunpla kits instead of miniature: Gunpla kits move, and miniatures don’t, and I couldn’t figure out how to not have paint scraping off all the time. I was thinking this or the Mecha paint line were meant to remedy that but maybe not.

How does he have the time and talent to do all of this, every video I have seen is so personalized. And unlike larger creators isn't a corporate shill or spredding the same opinion as every one else. He truly is under appreciated.

Gundam, I'm always impressed with your paint jobs. You should play around with some 40k figures too. That would be fun to see how you handle the "grittiness" of them.

Hold up...this guy sounds familiar. Anyway, came across this video looking for info regarding these AK Dual Exo paints. I'm new to the Gunpla hobby, but not the model hobby as I build tons of armor and military stuff. I've used AK's Real Colors and Gen 3 paints with decent success. I wish some company made the actual colors to the Gunpla instead of having to mix this and mix that. The closest I've come far are the Aqeous Colors. Laquer and enamel based paints are out for me. My Gf would kill me if I used solvent based paints due to the smell.

thanks for the paint review. paint and such is so expensive, with so many lines, it's hard to make a purchase. still not sure how i feel about thw witch series. im afraid to watch it for fear of it going the route of the m-she-u. you paint job is awesome and i do like the arial's design. what do you think of the new series?

Honestly going from hearing this guy calling people on the Internet out on their shit, to giving actual solidly great advice regarding gunpla is jarring. But in the best freaking way!

I get the idea of making a paint that doesn't need primer, but even if it's functional, I just wouldn't be willing to not prime a kit. It just makes little sense to me, when the results are always better with primer

Sadly, I struggle with any painting and panel lining due to shaking hands. The special metal stickers are a lot easier for me to handle.

Thinning acrylics is the worst. I never get it right. It's either not enough and nothing flows right, or too much and it beads up and dosen't get the correct coverage. And what the hell is flow improver??? My lacquer paints don't need that shit.
