@@alexismethenitis I'm in Canada and I brought last November 15 2023 this reel deck 🙂and now I will repair ( not me but my tech man) the recording (don't work both way)

@@markchapman7326 Hi Mark, I hope you can repair it and really enjoy it. If I may make a suggestion: Trevor's Bench has a youtube channel and I belive he is in Alberta. He is one of the best technisians ever with knowledge on open reel decks. Why don't you give him a call and see what happence? All the best, Alexis

Can you tell me which test band with which reference band flow (nWb/m) you use for the GX 636 to achieve the 0.775 V (0dB) at the output?

i think it had a service beacause c458 and c945 are original transistors i see that 2sc1845 wich is better than c945

This deck requires to desolder and clean both reverse switches - otherwise, it would not work reliably.

Very good video , I need also for restore my , like the same , can you hsave a list of parts to be changed ? this picture in colour very very nice , can you send if is possible a picture or file computer with a mail .
