Akainu is probably one of the only people with a chance at maybe beating the Gorosei's immortality at the moment. They might need something to regen from, where Akainu could in theory completely disintegrate them leaving nothing to regen from; similar to Cell or Buu from DBZ.

Bro, previously Kizaru fought against Luffy in a draw, Kizaru fell and couldn't move, while Luffy fainted Luffy was able to get back up because Luffy had time to rest and eat a lot of food which made Luffy's stamina recover Meanwhile, Kizaru was very tired from fighting Luffy before, so when Kizaru fought Luffy in round 2, Kizaru couldn't do anything.
