Akamas Peninsular was made into a national park because is it one of the last remaining wilderness left in Cyprus . Thank God for that . The developers wanted to make it touristy by building accomodation and night clubs . I think this national park along with Troodos are the most beautiful in Greek Cyprus .

I would totally agree, I love the mountains, and they're always so quiet. and I think that Akamas is the perfect combination of natural mountains and stunning coastlines

Fantastic video, that view was to die for. As you say so many people think of Cyprus as beaches and swimming but have so much more to offer

Indeed, I could never get bored of the Troodos Mountains, there is just so much beautiful scenery there, and yet they are always so quiet. This is still my absolute favourite view in Cyprus that we have found

What is the actual name of the trail that you are walking?

We're roughly following the route of the Aphrodite Nature trail. You can park next to the Baths of Aphrodite before walking through them and then following the footpath up the hill
