@@rachmatfauzi8791 cour 1 the animation was better for the most part. However they've been stepping up their game with the last ep. The animation quality fluctuates alot but I'm holding out hope they do the match justice, cus they can do it.

same, but i think the only reason why bachira got that type of narration was because we were introduced to his mom, so it made more sense for her to narrate for him, wheras for barou we only knew him so id be type weird for him to narrate his own thing

Two things (I already wrote them in the Crunchyroll comments, but it’s better to share with you two:) 5:26 “Become the one who _chooses,_ not the one waiting to be chosen.” I once read that Blue Lock was Mamba Mentality applied to Soccer Manga. And after that Isagi quote, I believe that. 5:46 Aww- I need a plushie of Baby Bachira! But seriously, it’s beautiful how his mom “understood” his “monster:” a childhood “imaginary friend” that understands which kind of football he wants to play. In Blue Lock, Bachira found the flesh and blood incarnation of that “monster:” Isagi. But that phrase Rin said to him in the episode (9:38 “You’re playing for someone else, that half-baked ego doesn’t excite me”) smells of Declaration of War to me. And Bachi is getting FIRED UP FROM IT. (13:20) I’m an Anime only, but I can assure you the upcoming match is the one Bachira EXPLODES. I bet his “evolution” is not to “follow the monster” anymore, but to BE the monster. EDIT: Did you have an email address? I need to send you something you may like...

From my understanding, there isn't a match if they win as they qualify for the third stage, although I may be wrong. But if that's the case, there's no reason to take Rin since Isagi wants Bachira back.

So Bachira has basically been playing at a level beyond his peers for all his life and has been unable to dial it down to match their pace. This caused him to feel isolated as there was no one that could match the plays he envisioned. An egotistical approach to a team oriented play style. Thank god for blue lock putting him against top tier strikers, because as an athlete Bachira would've never been likely to find happiness playing the way he was with the people he had around him.

reo's ultimate goal is the world cup trophy and he has decided nagi is the best way to achieve that goal. in the manga, it quite clear he doesn't actually gaf about ego's vision of being the best striker or whatever and i don't see him changing his mind soon. but he does become a beast in the manga so whatever works for him ig.
