PSL was way too competitive when we used to hire quality coaches local or not local...even EPL came to the party when teams decided to hired quality of coaches from different countries.. They are right about Dstv league... Downs don't get enough tests... Teams just sit back. Remember even chiefs parked and played counters... Pirates defended. AmaZulu parked the bus. Arrows were the only team that tested Them with intensity and tactical astuteness plus pressing our players.

We were the better side of the two. We matched Al Ahly tactically and physically, but Pitso showed that he knows us. Pitso knows this team. He knew what he had to do to punish us which 1) Overload us in the middle and 2) Not give us space. We didn't have a midfield last nite. Maboe, Coetzee and Mkhulise were nowhere to be seen. Morena was also making very careless errors at the back. We are out of CAF. 2-0 is too much.

That team is just something else in champions league even before we had Pitso as our Coach and we were beaten with same score.Iyo Alhly Alhly technical team was just superior than us on a day.They forced us not to play at all intead we were scatterd.Lets try on 2nd round. PutMotupa Kapinga/Villa and Domingo as our back up - Motupa comes with positive energy from the bench Kapinga for those fast penetrating passes to Shalu/Romeo. Another reason why we struggle at international level is because our domestic football is so slow and when we play against other teams we struggle. Shoe shine and piano won’t work against Nigeria. It works for Sundowns because they have the best squad. And players must quickly adapt to different styles of play. You can’t be a one trick pony
