You had to actually have watched the show to get alot of the jokes. Most of them were recurring jokes. Al Bundy was a boss. He took alot of shit. Worked his ass off. And he ALWAYS came through when it mattered. PC, he was not. People had a sense of humor back then. And no social media, or smart phones.....

Since I was 6 and my brother was 3 when MWC first started airing, my parents naturally made sure we were kept away from the show. When it ended 10 years later, it was at the point where we had seen every rerun in syndication and all new episodes on FOX after my brother turned 10 in 1994. Until the day my dad died and even to this day, everyone in my family references and quotes the show frequently. MWC is still one of the greatest sitcoms of all time.

That's as far as I made it also. Just came to the comments to see if anybody else had the same reaction or if I was jumping to a conclusion... Apparently I wasn't. Two people who should not multiply. Don't know anything about them and after only a portion of this video, I have no interest in finding out anything... on to a reaction by people who I actually want to watch. Just to let you know this show, The Simpson’s and the Tracy Ullman show we’re the first tv shows to put Fox on the map. The Simpson’s show was part of a snipet that would play during the Tracy Ullman show then they got their own show. My family and I would watch this every Sunday. We had to change the channel by turning a knobs on the set.

The good old days when things where not so sensitive. A woman tried to shut the show down in 1989 but as result it backfired and ratings doubled

I watched these when they were new episodes. Much better times back then. Hard for kids to appreciate what this was back then.

All in the Family with Carroll O'Connor, Good times with that guy that played JJ Walker, and this show were by far funnier than any sitcom on television today.
