You are so eloquent and express yourself poetically. Thank you for posting. Keep up the good work. I'm sorry you have had to go through so much pain and hurt. Please know that there are many members of the Church who are grateful to walk the covenant path with you. You are a light and an example.

That was beautiful and inspiring Al. I read your book while I was in the hospital years ago, "The Tattooed Mormon." My little sister gave it to me when I was struggling. I chanced upon this talk tonight, and watched it with my mother on mother's day, about ten minutes ago. I'm so grateful to you, and your vibrant, optimistic take on life. It means the world to me. I hope you and your family continue to maintain the love and countenance that you and Christ emit. Oh, and, before it goes past midnight... Happy Mother's Day!

Why anyone would be unkind to a lovely woman like Sister Carraway just boggles my mind. I'm so glad I live in my ward, because we are kind to everyone there, and I haven't heard a word of gossip in over 2 1/2 years. I hope she's receiving all the love and compassion at this time that she deserves.

You beautiful woman, thank you. I understand. I feel I've lived a similar path, but I desire my Lord to fill me. I love Him and seek Him and my Father daily. Sometimes it's hard for me to feel His love. I don't know why. Is it my mental illness or all my other problems? I don't know, but I do my best to study His word and live the best I can. Sometimes I've wanted death, but I know He doesn't want me to give up. I am so grateful for your beautiful testimony of who our Lord is and who we all should strive to be like. I love you my dear sister, and I understand. My suffering has indeed helped me to develop compassion. You definitely have that too. Thanks for your beautiful message of love for all people. You are amazing, and I hope your future will be glorious and joyful. 💕

I’ve nicknamed the Woman at the Well to be Deci, for decimated. Her life events, society, institution of marriage, and neighbors had decimated her trust in anything earthly to save her. She was completely prepared to recognize her savior when she met him.
