Only man on that stage I respect is The Big Tuna. Parcels almost cried talking about AL and what he meant to him in 1963.

He’s al Davis man……… this day broke my heart as a raider fan…..literally my entire family, men, women, children, cried this day. He meant so much to us

Big Raider Fan since 1980. People love Al or hated Al. If you tried to screw Al Davis, you were on the hated list, permanently. Last year, I went to the Rams v. Raiders home game where the Raiders lost badly. But i saw a guy, dressed as Al. Had the glasses, the ring, the hair comb back. Then some people behind us started yelling at each other and he turn his head half half way, had a smile on him that just sold the look. 30 years ago would have guessed that was him. Wish I got a picture with him. Btw, subscribe to my channel if you get a chance.

people who know me know i am a raiders fan and always have been. once and a while a raiders fan will come up to me and will ask what is wrong with the raiders. i just say this AL DAVIS IS GONE.

His biggest mistake was moving back to Oakland seeing what would happen.

That's true but he left los angeles for the same reason he left oakland the first. He couldn't get upgrades done at the LA memorial coliseum. He couldn't build at Hollywood Park. He couldn't move to Irvingdale. So he made a deal with oakland to do upgrades at the oakland alameda county coliseum. MOUNT DAVIS. And so the team moved back in time for the 1995 season. 13 seasons in Los Angeles and a super bowl title. That's all he accomplished in Los Angeles. He never got the upgrades and he was never allowed to build anywhere else in Southern California.
