@princezzpuffypants62872 жыл бұрын
I agree that it would be nice if he addressed the abuse and divorces and spoke openly about how someone can work for God (or believe they do, depending on your belief about the man) while still doing deplorable things. Remember, there are many cases of God's chosen ones doing horrible things, but God still uses them to do His work. If there is a God, surely he speaks through the Reverend. Warts and all.

None of us are perfect and we are not supposed to judge each other just be glad where God delivered all of us from made us all brand new. That's the problem in the world these days and why good people and including me you know why our circle is small because of others mentioning about the past and the people that are doing it as a reason to justify their reason for betrayal lying or just nonsense you know and even from jealousy, but I am glad that God blessed me with a legacy of leadership and excellence where he did the impossible and where I have family and church members and others who love value care and respect me and love the God in me even since a little girl that love God church and singing in the choir singing to others about the goodness of God and testifying how he did the impossible in my life and how today I am youth trustee counselor church and choir member at Ressurection Missuionary Baptist Church and have a leadership and excellence legacy that God did the impossible and that he blessed for me that no one can steal and also him blessing me to still help inspire others and still stay being a good person and having a pure heart when it comes to blessing others.

@@destinyrobinson5944 girl you just made this all about you. But let’s be clear, not violently abusing women does not require perfection at minimum it requires you to be a decent human being. And here is the main problem with church brain, the complete in ability to recognize and acknowledge wrong from people simply because they sing you a good gospel song or say bless the lord here and there . Yet committing all kinds of atrocities while they stand in church. And spare me the we are not suppose to judge crap. Life is based on our abilities to make judgments every day, about people, places. Things, situations, etc….. you wake up and go to bed making judgments. It’s what u do with those judgments that matter. And only a fool does not acknowledge a persons past, without it you have no idea what type of future you are walking into with them. I love God as well. But he gave me common sense. Try it!

Al was not perfect ... but he was close when he would sing for the Lord! So talented but no doubt has had his own journey and challenges in life and not all of his choices were respectable but I always got a sense that Al Green is authentic and really sincere when he sings from the soul.
