Al Jazeera’s Youmna El Sayed recollects the moment when a little boy of about 11 years old, brought his dead baby brother - Ahmed - to a hospital in Khan Younis in a blue backpack. The boy was dishevelled, bruised, and looked like he had emerged from the rubble. Blood dripped from the backpack.

A journalist consoled him but he was urgently shouting his condolences - their grieving, is no time to grieve. The journalist tried to stop him crying and he said to the boy, “do me one favor please. You have younger siblings? Do one thing for me and get up from here and get everything your little siblings need”. Remember the sense of urgency in the journalists voice speaking to this boy. The journalist forced the boy up and you would think it was wrong but the world needed that boy to look out for his siblings Likewise I will not let you cry for too long. Our grieving is a striving - how much resources do we have compared to them? Let’s use them before they’re taken from us - who’s to say we might not be in a position like children on Gaza tomorrow, house half bombed, gotta evacuate? Least we can do it be a good soul in the world we’re in now whilst we can - it’s not a lot, seriously, if you keep the small intention of doing good Allah will perfect your intentions and in no time you will committing righteous deeds for the children of Palestine and the sake of God in healing the world. Allah never burdens a soul beyond what it can bear. We can feel the pain but as for the boy he is under Allah. Allah has already provided the Palestinian with immense courage. Strength and sabr.

My soul break hearing this, I am so sorry to hear this. I will not forgive or forget what the US and Israel for this. This is crime against humanity and everyone involve must be held accounntable. The Palestinians deserve to live free and safe, we own it to them.
