Jewish people in Dermatology used Black students support from Gaza as their reason to write a joined later asking for the dissolution of all programs aimed at recruiting Black students into Dermatology just last month. When your "valedictorian" posts inflammatory content on their personal social media account that could result in drawing unwelcome attention to your expensive and widely attended high-profile event you have to consider the safety and well being of your guests and the reputation of your institution above all else. It's not that hard to understand. She earned the valedictorian status, but that is it. She gets no say in the decisions of the administration and they owe her no personal consideration for her status. If this event were to go sideways the university would be mired in bad PR for a long time. But if she accepts her diploma without incident and leaves the university in good standing they can turn their attention to the next academic year and the next crop of students looking to graduate and be successful. In other words, she's okay with whatever happens to Israel, including Hamas' "resistance". She believes in "equality for all" aside from Israeli's. These college students have become more and more radical, all under the name of "equality" and empathy -- it's all really a guise with a deeper disdain, and even hatred, for people who they deem to be in a "privileged" class. Her hateful and incorrect reduction of Israel--the only free democracy in the entire Middle East with equality for all citizens, including 2 million Arabs--as an apartheid goes unchallenged by the interviewer. She further obfuscates by speaking about human rights implying that Israel is the antithesis of human rights. This is an outrageous slander as Israel is by far freer than any of the world's 49 Muslim countries. All of these countries have produced an apartheid of Jews since all million Jews have been ethnically cleansed, robbed, and massacred in the Muslim and Arab nations. She also conveniently does not mention that Lebanon is a truly apartheid nation, that Sudan's civil war has resulted in 2 MILLION deaths, Somalia's civil war half a MILLION deaths, Nigeria's 3 MILLION deaths, Yemen's about half a MILLION deaths, and that Syria's civil war has resulted in 600,000 deaths, including that of 200,000 civilians. @truettadevil And if she was at least a brave clown, she could answer Yes, I want to abolish Israel, I would respect her a little more...as a clown

@@roiissac158 Yes or no answers for complex issues is for the benefit of idiots, purely. If you want to talk to a college-educated person who is a valedictorian about a complex issue and want a simple binary answer, you either don't know who you're talking to or are just oblivious to the world. Sometimes, you can't simply say yes or no, because life isn't that simple. That's like saying do you support abortion. Do you support welfare. Do you support paying taxes. Do you support having a clean environment. Those questions can be oversimplistic and if you speak in absolutes, you sound like a zealot, which most people may not be. If you don't want to be thoughtful, that's your own business. Don't force that on somebody else. The way a question is framed can be as important as the response, too. Rather than say "some post you liked said "Abolish Israel", do you support abolishing Israel, yes or no" and sounding like an idiot, it's better to ask what that means to them or is it accurate that they even support that or support its abolition fully, and then ask why.... if that's the point of an interview. Otherwise, it's meant to dismiss and write off a person. Let somebody disqualify themselves and such. Is that the point of media? It makes more sense to understand what the view is and how they came to it. Otherwise, why give any air to it?
