Im from Germany aswell but im mostly into Techno wich is a little rougher. When it comes to melodic the already mentioned Christian Löffler is awesome tho. we take drugs mostly because WE ARE Utterly Disconnected from the planet and others ! Drugs can be an enriching experience if one is feeling well and in the mood, but most of the time they become an addiction, a passing through what could be... our seemingly impossible suddenly so close hopes and dreams ... i am very concerned about the people that like me took it to the music, and the club for a safe place, an escape room from all the madness out there. i miss you all deeply, i love you all, and i hope we can dance again soon ! but first, ... , we must take care of our friends and the planet.

I agree with most of your sentiment. And well said! However, I disagree that drugs become.a problem 'most of the time' - as there are hundreds of millions of users out there, who have no issues whatsoever, it's actually only a small percentage who develop problems. People just need to know how to be safe, stay educated and only partake if they know they can safely. Peace n love!

yes and no. drugs can drastically enhance your appreciation and perception of life, they can connect you to humanity and show you emotions, places and experiences you would never access without them. But for some the draw is too strong to stay in those experiences and chase them until they are nothing but addiction, and that’s the negative side of it all. Not everyone ends up like this and I don’t think anyone has the right to tell you that you can’t experience these things, as they can be very therapeutic and healing, you can grow a lot from these experiences, but they can also be life shatteringly destructive - it’s up to you to accept that heavy responsibility.

Such a great track and such a great video! This is my personal interpretation: The protagonists cross paths the first time at the beginning of the evening, both from different walks of life but both very lonely in their own way. When their eyes catch each other they get this electrifying feeling that you sometimes get with some people, but neither of them acts on it and they both continue to go about their evening but keep thinking of that moment. She goes partying and he goes about his "business" of selling drugs. Later at the club he gets busted and dragged in front of the club for selling bad or cut drugs, she finds herself in front of the club because of an overdose or maybe even his bad drugs. For a second their eyes catch each other again before she collapses and he has to continue defending himself, this time the situation preventing any of them acting on it. Then we se him driving home and her in the ambulance, both dreaming about a better, happy life with the other, ending their loneliness. But ultimately they both keep living on their same old lives, both lonely in their own way. She because ultimately her life despite being in a secure social situation feels empty and meaningless, he because of the life of crime and insecurity his social circumstances brought him into. And all they have of each other are these two short moments where their eyes caught each other that made them dream of a better life.

Personal meaning of the video: The protagonists don't know each other. After they have seen each other for the first time they still choose to continue on their own path. When he thinks of a life with her, as an alternative to the life he leads, he is beaten, in the same way when she comes out of the crowd he begins to feel bad and is taken away. As if there was no way out of the life he has embarked on and the protagonists have no choice but to imagine what their life together could have been like.

Never have I seen a video so perfectly choreographed with the music and song like this. Every scene fits the mood and music so amazingly. Especially from 5:10 when the girl wakes up and they both start reminiscing/remembering/imagining their time together. Just absolute art

God, fantastic... !!! I'm really enjoying the whole "mini-movie" experience, with KAS:ST's outstanding music. To be able to edit an entire story, within 6 minutes and 23 seconds, is quite an achievement and you're left with "real" emotions. Wow... !!!

Every dream that we have can become reality to us in a feeling. But that utopia, that illusion of reality in which we dissolve just to live our most desirable lives, gets trapped and destroyed by the actual hell we live in. The system, technology, mass manipulation and power. Kas:st grasped exactly this. The natural human need of being FREE, and getting set up by all of this mess. And so we appeal to revolutionary acts, to mind altering substances and we isolate ourselves, because of fear and because of the incapacity of escaping. It's a true problem. Whenever I hear this reality through Kas:sts songs, my eyes water and I just can't stop myself from thinking what it is there that surrounds me. And where am I exactly? All I know is that love is the only home I have found. I can only close my eyes and dream when I lay on loves chest and fall asleep.

This is incredible... The music is a masterpiece in itself yet it gains another level of depth when you add the video clip to it. Its almost unmatchable. The music and video both leave so much room for interpretation. It lets your mind run free... Almost magic...
