pats33 If their runningback had just stayed in bounds, Auburn would've won. But he decided to go for the back breaking first down and was pulled out of bounds, leaving Bama and Young just enough time for the comeback.

If I wasn’t a fan for either team, I’d be jumping up and down going crazy...unfortunately I’m an Auburn fan. That was one HELL of a game though, my tigers just couldn’t hang on and the miracle was on the other end this year. The Iron Bowl is the best rivalry in all of sports, period.

Now you know how we felt after kick 6. But I have nothin but respect for Auburn. Harsin is a good hire, just be patient. Finley played his heart out with a bum ankle. And the Auburn defense made every yard, first down and score for us a struggle. See you next year!

I’m gonna be completely honest. We shouldn’t have one this game and I’m sure people are gonna say we cheated or whatever but I really don’t care. I’ll take a win anyway we can get it this year because I understand we really aren’t that good. The fact we have came this far with this really really young team is amazing and besides we just won it all last year so I’m really proud of Alabama. I also understand Georgia might very well skill drag us next weekend and that’s okay too. We over accomplished and I’m super proud of the guys. Roll tide.

Watching that loudmouth Patrick Nix look so disappointed was worth it. He whined about Bama getting calls and Auburn got all the calls and then he mocked Jamison Williams as he was leaving the field after a targeting penalty. I wish the kid no ill will but I’m glad he was so disappointed after this loss.

People even talk about it in terms of justifying rank dropping. Protip my dudes: the purpose of the game is to win the game. Sometimes games are hard and it may come down to a single play or a single point. But guess what - it's still a win.

I’m an Alabama graduate from 1974. Auburn has cut my heart out over the years in the Iron Bowl many times like tonight in reverse. That is what makes it the greatest rivalry game. Complete respect to Auburn. Next year we’ll do it all over again and somebody’s heart will be broken for 364 days. It’s a terrible/wonderful thing.

Auburn made a 2point conversion when they were forced to. It makes me wonder why they didn't go for 2 when it was 16-17. You lost anyways, you had a chance to win by your own playcall.

I feel like it was too much of a risk with an injured QB. Why wouldn’t you trust your defense after what they did for 3 1/4 quarters. Then again the momentum was fully in Bama’s favor so it would have been smart to put the game on the line right there

@@carsoncarruthers9606 i feel like if I'm a coach I'd be more confident in offensive play calling than defensive at that point. It'd be the last play of the season and you can put it all on the line. I'd much rather be in the driver seat than trust my defense. Even the best defenses give up two yards. You can't name a defense that'd never give up 2 yards. An offense getting 2 yards is so much more of a reliable shot. Plus, you'd walk off the field with your pride saying 'we went for the win'.

Took 4 OT’s to beat a 6-6 unranked Auburn team and a gimpy back up QB. I mean come on, enough blowing smoke out Alabama’s ass. They looked terrible.

I’ve been burned too many times against Nick Saban. They look terrible this week but somehow blow the doors off Ga next week.

I'm a Alabama fan and I agree We looked terrible. I dont know why everybody's talking about the best game all season. Wth! Alabama didn't show up. too many mistakes. We lucked up! Roll Tide anyway

Alabama didnt win this game. Auburn won this game the entire way. If Auburns QB hadn't gotten hurt they would have won. Bama is just a mediocre and lucky team this year.
