I have been nothing but greatly impressed by Coach DeBoer since he took the big job of being the Bama Head Coach. Roll Tide!

He’s racking up the recruits. Hated to see players like Caleb Downs exit stage left before even giving Coach DeBoer a chance. You should commit to a school because you want to play there - not just for the HC. The Alabama football program is in good hands.

I am like you. Hated to see Saban go. I thought we had 3 more years or 1 more natty before he left but he was 72 and he couldn't do it to his standards. He left it in great shape. Deboar has hit it out of the ballpark so far. Little Nervous but backing him 100%

@@punkinpiebeadyeye i remember the optimism that we had going into Les Miles first season, (our first season since Saban went to the pros).. yea we were optimistic, later in the season the camera showed Les eating sideline grass, and that’s when it hit me that Saban was gone! Yea and it bothers me til this day. The what could’ve been for LSU.

I was sad to see coach Saban retire but was happy to see Coach Deboer become the new coach. Reality has started to set it but I don’t think it truly will until game one not seeinf coach Saban lead the team out and be in the sidelines with the headsets.

This year is gonna be fun. Foundation of Alabama football was being established 100 years ago this decade, from Wade, Denney, to Bryant, to Stallings, to Saban and now DeBore gets his chance to add to it. dawg fan here. it is impossible for me to believe bama is gonna “fall off” or “take a step back” 😂 the tide have too much talent along with an excellent foundation to not still be a constant national title threat year in and year out. would have to take ALOT for that to change. looking forward to late september with our trip to T-town. i’m not the trash talking obnoxious type. the tide definitely have their number but i hope we can start evening that record out as we continue in this new era of college athletics. go dawgs for as long as i live!

i looked at deboer as having more access to the west coast with previous contacts as an advantage in recruiting, the he can't recruit here is wishful thinking by some. as far as bama wanting lanning first deboer defeated oregon twice as an underdog with less talent according to the experts. bama got the right coach.

I’m not being mean, but if he forces Milroe to throw early and often, Bama won’t win a single game vs the better half of the Sec. Saban’s style is polar opposite of his. So if you want your program to move forward without a rebuild, you hire a similar personality to Saban. This new Bama is a house of cards. I’m an LSU fan.
