This was an update on December 1 2023: “Joseph Christopher, 40, was arrested by Mesa police in Maricopa County on a murder charge in the death of 41-year-old Kevin Burks, who was a pastor at Living Waters Christian Church in Opp, authorities told WDHN.”

We know the relationships. They attracted people who pretended to be one thing, but just wanted to control and use them. Unfortunately, no one is immune to the ravages of crime. Kelvin was kind soul, I even know the young lady who made the post saying ppl thought they were romatically involved. I thought he died of natural causes. I hope they find out who did this to him. This is so disheartening and sad. I didn’t know him personally but we were connected on Facebook a few years back. I clicked on this video as soon as I saw the thumbnail. Wow. Life is so short. Whoever it was had access to his social media account and asked for $1000.00 That's probably the motive for his murder the person wanted money and he refused to give or lend it to the individual That's my opinion.

This happened to a local preacher in Houston with a successful music career about 35 years ago. Rev Paul Jones. Some guy broke into his house thought he had money and murdered him.
