This is exactly how my sister died at 19yrs old. Strayed bullet from cops in JA. Entered in the back of her head while sleeping. It entered in the back of her head, moved trying to exit, and lodged in her upper teeth 😞My lil brother shook her, turned the lights on, & saw the blood. This brought it all back, & it’s over 30yrs. 😢Praying for God’s will for this lady’s life , along with her husband, facing this trauma😣🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

There is another similar incident that happened in Georgia with a woman named Carletha Foley. She was in her bed sleep when a stray bullet came through the wall. It turned out that her neighbor claimed he was cleaning his gun. But the neighbor failed to check to see if anyone was injured by the stray bullet, and the neighbor went to work the next morning like nothing happened.

A similar situation happened to a friend's sister. She lives in a rural area…heavily wooded; one day while washing dishes, a stray bullet came through her kitchen window. Fortunately, it had lost momentum and landed in the sink. Gun owners need to be more proactive in HOW they handle their weapons! Prayers to the Ellison Family for healing and recovery, as GOD WILLS.

I think if they suspected him of doing it they would have held him. The reason I don't believe he did it because the authorities I'm sure have checked out everything as far as how the bullet entered. It's very easy to see if that bullet came through the wall through the headboard, the point of entry the force of it and how it entered that would determine that it was a stray bullet that came from the outside and went through her head

Personally I have always been afraid of guns. Bullets don’t have a name on them. Carless firing at objects and in the air doesn’t make any sense. Lots of people have lost their lives while inside their homes. Praying for her full recovery 🙏🏾

Shame folks can't be safe in their own homes while sleeping. Heartfelt prayers to the First Lady, as well as Pastor. Praying that he doesn't continue to harbor the guilt of not being to protect his wife. No one can ever predict the direction from which a stray bullet comes from, nor the irresponsibility of the one that fired it. Again, prayers going up.

My cousin got shot in the leg while she was sleep at 3am from a stray bullet coming through her house. Glad she recovered but these situations are totally preventable. If you are not defending yourself from harm, you shouldn't be squeezing a trigger!

I pray for her healing 🙏🏾 I pray for the family! This is the reason I moved from Decatur, GA. 2 stray bullets came through our house in my daughters room and almost killed her. One bullet grazed her bun on top of her head, went through the wall and then through the middle of the front door (which could have hit anyone) the other we found in her dresser clothes weeks later,. We also had woods behind our house. People don't realize how far these bullets travel. Jah guide and protect us!
