l hear what u are saying. Yet at the same time at a few football games this past Fall, the band played songs such as "Lil Freak" by usher and "Love's Train" and "After Last Night" by Bruno. So they do play a few latest songs sometimes. l am just saying as Alabama State Alumni music major.

@womanofzion6980 some folks just type anything. Bama typically has a good variety of different genres from different eras. H3ll ain't Good Love an Usher and City Girl's song? Lol... they also played some lil baby and that brand new Drake/21 Savage tune at this same event. And tbh, half of the new age songs suck or have no real substance

Nah I like how the bass drums allowed the snares, tenors and cymbals to be the star before they came in sounding like a war was going off. I loved everything about this entrance. Alabama State never seems like they’re trying too hard. Always being their unique selves and effortlessly grabs your attention and *keeps it the entire time.* 🔥
