Better than Florida Atlantic & Western Carolina. :-) We're lucky to have 1 of our out of conference games be a good game (at least at the time it was scheduled). I'd love to see these cupcake games go away in favor of real matchups. I hate the argument that these little schools won't survive without these paydays...it isn't the responsibility of Alabama or any other top school to fund a lower football program.

I agree. Personally, and this may sound stupid, I would rather see us play a low-tier power-5 school like Kansas (at the very least.) These teams don't even show up mentally and neither did/do we.

USM Has beat Bamer 5 out of the last 8 times they played them. Course Bamer remembers their winning seasons not their losing seasons. Their have been a lot of 3-5 win seasons in between good coaches. USM aint shit. But they have been in the past. They made their living crushing SEC teams in the 70s and 80s. That's a fact jack.

I just came across this video a year after your comment and felt like I needed to correct you. Southern Miss has beaten Alabama a total of 6 times. They have won once in the past eight games, that being a 21-0 shutout in 2000. I agree that Southern Miss usually gives Alabama a very competitive game, however, it is not as close as you think.
