You can see the ejection patern change with the different end caps. This will give the Ventum a run for his money, it seems. Flow trough and 3D printing with modularity is the future.

3D printing cans at this time is unnecessary. The inflated costs doesn't translate to the performance of suppression or flow-through characteristics

@4g63mark are you serious? You've never heard of the performance of the hux flow series 3d printed cans? They were able to achieve those geometries in the can due to 3d printing. So I disagree. Also kans like the hyperion from cgs group and several others they make are all 3d printed. 3d printed cans made of the same material as traditional kans tends to be alot stronger even though it's the same material.

Did you notice any performance scaling/improved suppression when moving the torch from 11.5 to 14.5 or 16” 556? Curious if it got quieter or not after the latest pew science info on the RC2’s suppression not scaling well with longer barrels

Don't have much firearms experience, just .38 special and .357 mag out of snub nose revolvers down the range. Gonna buy some noise canceling ear muffs soon, see if they work. Great vid as always, thanks.

I always wondered how suppression and gas flow would compare between these new flow through cans and just using a can with a bigger bore. In my thinking bigger bore equals more gases flowing through. I know it’s louder using an over bore silencer but all the flow through cans I’ve heard have been a little louder also.

To a degree you are correct, but what has been so impressive this year has been the sound improvements in the low back pressure cans. They're quieter than they have ever been and far quieter than shooting like a 556 through a 50cal silencer. Thanks for watching!

Any suggestions for a muzzle brake or flash hider that will work the Torch that can be pinned and welded on a 13.9” barrel to get the build to 16”?

The torch is a little better in terms of volume but gassing is so so much better compared to the backpressure on the anthem S.

I wonder how this compares to the two configurations of the rugged radiant, any chance that can is up for review on your channel?

My torch is in jail atm but I’ve shot it in the solid config next to my radiant in the long config. Switching between the 2 on my tuned 11.5 sbr the torch is definitely quieter when compared to the radiant in the long config with a 556 endcap and a SA gas block tuned to the rifle. Bystanders couldn’t tell a huge difference but noted the radiant was more “boomy” sounding and the torch was more muted. The short config of the radiant is very loud and flashy on short barrel 5.56, but it’s better than nothing. I didn’t bother comparing but you would definitely notice a substantial difference between the torch and the k config of the radiant. Both great suppressors, just get the flash hider 556 endcap from rugged to get the most out of your radiant on an AR-15.

I'll check out pew science, but I just watched your reviews on HUXWRX 556 FLO THRU, The flo thru 762TI how was this compared to those? You made mention of HUXWRX in this video but unless I missed it I didn't hear wich sounded better to your ear.

To my ears, this is a little quieter than the Flow 556k, it gets a lot closer when compared to the Flow 762 shooting 556, hard to say. Thanks for watching!

For the money you absolutely can’t beat it. I own 5 Arkens now and if you want to put a good scope on a rifle without putting a second mortgage on the house they’re a great choice. Thanks for watching!

Now, this seems to do okay, on the video for 5.56 & 300 Arc, after all the audible compressions of making a digital film. I can only imagine this design would flourish on a .300 blackout. I hope they have that can in the future!?

Bear creek arsenal is turning out both spiral& straight fluted barrels that are very accurate- all barrels 16" &longer are guaranteed to be sub moa! Check them out! My 20"6.5grendel straight fluted is incredibly accurate to 1000yds!complete sidecharging upper- $325! Capt J

Pew data shows the Flow is slightly worse at the muzzle but noticeably better at the ear when compared with the Torch vented end cap.

I should stop watching your videos. I watched your last video and bought huxwrk 762 TI. Lol I already have 2 30 Cal. Suppressors. I have a third one come in about a month along side of 5.56.
