ALAKAZAM : Move Damage Counters Around, KO Multiple Targets, Get All Prizes ! (TWILIGHT MASQUERADE)

ALAKAZAM has an attack that can move the damage counters from your opponent's pokemon in any way you like. This may just allow you to knock out multiple targets, which may get you all 6 prizes in a single turn. We'll be using ALOLAN RATICATE's Super Fang attack to reduce our opponent's active pokemon's HP down to 10. This is a very consistent and fun combo!
(This build was designed for 2024 STANDARD format Regulation Cards "F" through "TWM" Expansion)

Funny how Alakazam does with an attack nearly what Dusknoir did way back in Boundaries Crossed with an ability. Soooo many cards from that era would feel so OP if they got printed nowadays. I mean, they were OP back than too

Cool!!! I liked this card a lot when I saw it and also had to make a deck. I like alakazam and have been playing damage swap decks for a long time. I tried it with Tsareena ex, and with froslass / Raichu / munkidori / emolga, but you made it work even better! Are there other partners that would work even better with this deck?

I recommend to switch the abra with the 151 one because if the opponent plays two froslass, you could get into serious trouble to get that alakazam up.

Radiant Jirachi would be a great sacrifice Pokémon for this deck. You can also use 151 Mr. Mime to spread damage at the end.

you should add a flying entry hawlucha from scarlet and violet base set. Its flying entry ability does 10 damage to 2 of ur opponents pokemon when u bench it. Combine it with raticate and thats ko

Why don't you just use the evolution of rufflet? It's a stage one. Its attack is free and it just puts 30 damage on all Pokemon with damage counters on it

Does anyone know if Vitality band or Defiance Band are attached to Raticate when you attack with Super fang does the extra damage hit on top of cutting them down to 10HP and instant KO?

No it will not do extra damage, because the tool cards you mentioned increases only "attack damage". Alolan Raticate's attack does not deal "attack damage," rather it is considered an "effect of an attack," specifically reducing your opponent's pokemon's HP down to 10.

Am I right in also assuming since it is an "effect of an attack" that when using it against a psychic Pokémon its doesn't do the X2 Damage? Love your channel BTW! I have had so much fun play testing some of the decks you showcase IRL and on ptcg Live with my 10 year old. Thanks for the awesome videos.

I think the process is the same, because you can still prevent attacks from damaging you. And Alakazam or Pidgeot ex can also attack if you need them to. Maybe take out their draw engine as soon as possible to cripple their setup.

bro first game, 1 damage to pidgeot, 1 damage to charizard ex and 7 to the charmander on the bench, how tf do you play this and not see that easy ass 5 prizes.
