There's so many layers of story and humour to Partridge. It's amazing. And every series tries a different format it can mock or find new humour. It's almost like Marvel on a small scale haha as the mythology builds with Lynn, travel tavern etc. - I adore Alan Partridge.

The problem with this is it’s out of context with ego Alan was in series two. The claustrophobic narasicm of fame and kissing ass is excluded. Now just a shit-show if parody tv that nobody pays a license for. The renegade has become a trite representation of the absolute - without irony
