See Alan’s face light up when he heard George’s voice. He loves and respected George and they became close buddies to the end. Alan Jackson was bought up with great values and have respect for others. He has protested over a few things through his career but still remained respectful when he did. He has stayed true to his beliefs.🇦🇺🙏🌅🥰

It's 2018. I am 23 years old. I still listen to good quality country music from Jones and Jackson. Not all of us young people like the crap on the radio these days. I stand with traditional country music and the old country values that we lost along with the music.

If you watch that performance you get a deeper view of his loyalty when you realize that he lets his fiddle players and his guitar players get their solos out and have their moments first then he made his stand for George Jones. His integrity and loyalty are something to envy!

I happen to agree that Mr. Jones is a Class act. There is a video that Mr. Jones & Mr. Jackson had done in a studio, oh years ago. I live watch the clip periodically. As I watch the clip with a spiritual vision of Mr. Jones handed over a spiritual torch to Mr. Jackson. The song they sang together was "A Good Year For The Roses". I love the clip. Two of the finest gentlemen in the country music industry.

George Jones, DESERVED to sing that song and it's entirety. They should be ashamed of themselves, for asking him to cut his song. There will never in this world be another possum. These country singers of today, excluding Alan Jackson and others, wouldn't know respect if it hit them in the face. God bless you possum, you lived life your way, and didn't get give a damn what anybody thought. I know you're up in heaven singing. How we miss you here on Earth. Rest in peace.
