Seeing Sam Lake have a huge grin on his face as he was dancing at the end made me so happy. This performance felt like the culmination of everything him and his team have been working on for the past two decades. We need more teams like Remedy who are willing to push the boundaries in gaming to give us chances to see performances like this.

Couldn't agree more. Most games you already know what to expect, if it's a horror, you expect dark rooms and jump scares, if it's action, you expect to go shooting from point a to point b, and so on, but with Alan wake 2, you truly don't know what to expect next, be it a jump scare, a plot twist, a action sequence, a runaway, a musical, and everything DO make sense in the game, it's truly unique

Honestly the best part of the game awards. This year's GA felt like jist a bunch of ads strung together by rushed acceptance speeches. This performance had actual passion behind it and showed what games companies are capable of.
