I actually had the pleasure of meeting Eliza Dusku at Emerald City Comic Con a few years ago and she is the sweetest person on the planet. I was a very shy teen and I think she could tell, so she turned up her music she was playing and danced with me for a couple minutes. Legit one of the best moments ever, she is so so nice and easy to talk to.🖤🖤🖤

I think “Wrong Turn” is an underrated little gem. Yes, it doesn’t add nothing new to the genre because is a mix between “The Hills Have Eyes” and “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”, but it was really tense and enjoyable with strong performances!

Interesting facts about Wrong Turn (2003) Eliza Dushku did a lot of her own stunts for the movie. (2) Emmanuelle Chriqui dislocated her shoulder performing her fall through the trees. You can hear her shoulder pop on the production track in the theatrical sound mix. (3) The only film in the series that does not contain any sex or nudity. (4) Several of the cast and crew were covered in poison ivy throughout the filming of the movie, this was due to the chairs being placed in what was first thought to be a group of weeds only later to be discovered as a patch of the rash-causing plants. (5) In the opening credits, on Chris' car radio a preacher can be heard saying, "If you plant your seed into your own kin, you anger God." This is foreshadowing because the movie is about inbred hillbillies.

“You are so dumb for getting shot in the leg fool” love that line, like he has any choice we’re he got shot. Also love the hills have eyes. The Whole movie has this underlying feeling of tension, desperation and anger that builds for the main characters until it all comes out in Bloody rampage against some psycho inbred cannibals. It’s also interesting how the Gun ho father in Law is killed first but the pacifist husband is the one who eventually kills the cannibals. Just love that change of expectation, one of the first horror movies I watched that did that.

So my cousins took me to see this when it came out, they were teens/early 20s so I guess they just didn't want to sit through a family friendly movie at the time. I was 11. I started crying so hard when the guy pulls the barbed wire through that girl's mouth that we had to leave lol. I do love this movie now though! Eliza is an icon!

So insidious is next omg I can't wait that movie still haunts me. We have the fifth movie coming out later this year that's a sequel to the first two and it is present time directed by Patrick Wilson first time directing I might add who is one of the leads and also does the conjuring. It's so good tho yes so scary full of jump scares but the story and characters are so good
