My mom didn't let me see her or No Doubt, she was scared of mosh pits lol, and said we were too little. Jagged Little Pill was my first CD, she got my sister Jewel, and my other sister Sheryl Crow cds. I hope we get another wave of strong female performers again!

I'm a little older than you, but I had tickets to see Guns N Roses Appetite/Lies at Legend Valley in Buckeye Lake, Ohio. I was like 12 or 13. My buddy's older brother was 16. He was going to take us, and my parents said No. Probably a good decision, but oh my, did I miss Rock and Roll History.

I have been in love with this song since I first heard in 1995 - her vocal performance and lyrics blew me away - as I get older the full depth of these lyrics continue to hit new layers within me. Ugh, an incredible song, and her voice still gives me chills - thank you for uploading this performance 😍

Definitely a studio singer and not really a great live singer. Her voice just doesnt carry much weight live because its just not very powerful especially when shes not hitting high notes.
