I simply love Alanis for what she has done for me, my musical best friend, and no matter what, I can put her albums on and she always lifts my spirits up and helps me when I am either up or down

THE GIRL IS AWESOME !! It's her world live in it!!! She is giving insight on releasing natural human emotions relating to Mother hood - because she's a REAL WOMAN and as "MAMA BEAR" in essense of expressing, Passion, Joy, pain and anger (which could be a 'GOOD THING" if you choose to embrace it and move forward ) Learn People, she's promoting healing, phycological, spiritual, sexual, health thus teaching us how to process our calamities and journeys through life experiences through music and enevitbly facing the reality and acceptance of it! The girl is deep! Great fan I am:}!!! cutos to the interviewer! Good Job!!

Many folks who didn't grow up with her don't know who she is. The only reason I saw this video is because I saw her name on a list of musicians who've lost megastar status. I wanted to see if it was true. It apparently is.

You should really check out her work. Her first album is a masterpiece and her unplugged album is amazing. She really is a true talent...she just refused to be a pop star, and I respect her for that.

@@Stcomdoc when u think about every star loses their megastar status eventually.. theres really not 1 star that is a megastar from beginning to end. U reach ur peak and then theres nowhere else to go except down. That's like saying Aerosmith lost their megastar status.. I look at it more like they graduate from being a megastar to a legend and alanis is definitely a legend

In the 90's we were forgetting about the woman's movement of the 70's and 80's. You brought us back. You brought us the same as that tennis match, but with music instead of tennis balls. You gave me something to dance to and sing to. Thank you.
