So wise. Should be no surprise given how greatly she writes. This was all about the personal level but there's also a deeply needed discussion to be had about comletely hostage our attention now is to the vested interests of wealth and power through advertising and propoganda. It's no coincidence that we don't have time to think much at all much less clearly. No wonder the confusion and aimlessness in current conditions.

Can you believe I'm a Medium and I live with a narcissist and have done for 20 years! yes it has been a trauma!! he has tried to stop me doing a few things..but esp mediumship since the start! I have prevailed! and am so far winning...but slowly! His fear does not let him want to believe in life after death and what I do in general. Loved your talk! I do not want to leave him and have found ways to live together. It has actually helped me grow in many ways! it has also allowed him to show me where I need to change. If I was to ask your ex's collectively what would be their response to what's their biggest challenge with being with you?

Is losing sense of self really a result of some type of neglect in childhood? I think she could be mistaken on that. Maybe it is simply a natural consequence of deep, introspective thought. Perhaps she was born without a strong sense of self. It is no coincidence that highly intelligent people often lack confidence and question their self identities. If you look deep enough, you find that "self" is really just an illusion and therefore it gets harder and harder to retain. This is quite a natural progression for some people. Others are either too ignorant or too afraid to realize that the "self" does not exist.
