Ray Chatfield married into my family when I was a small boy and still plays that same banjo at family gatherings. I can assure you, that is Ray Chatfield :)

It’s been many years and you might not see this, but do you have any more footage of Ray playing? I’ve looked around and haven’t found much outside one video at a fiddle comp. His style is super tight and sounds great.

Thanks, I’ve definitely seen him in all the porch videos with Tommy Jarrell. Appreciate the other links. Like I said, I really dig his style, I play old time clawhammer and pick a lot of these songs and his playing is always great to listen to when I’m trying to sort out some licks for a tune. Cheers.
