For adventure Bison you should.try the roadless book cliffs unit in UT. It is horses or boots only to get into the unit where the herds are

Just stumbled upon your videos. Love the series and your narration. It is on, or better, then the narration of Steven Rinella

Is that a Remington rifle or Bergaro
@magaman63534 жыл бұрын
It's a Bergaro with a Model 700 style action. That's why the put the ostentatious decal on it. Pretty decent rifle.

@@magaman6353 cool. Have u tryed Wayne yorks cut rifle barrels made from forged hammer barrel. I'm going to try it just to see how they shoot after he is done

Out of interest, why shoot with a muzzle loader? You dont have the quick back up shot of a standard bolt action..
@ArcherBowman Жыл бұрын
My guess is bragging rights and easier placement in record books.

Not much of a challenge, shooting a lethargic bovine off a rest. Hardly worth thousands of dollars. Even a wolf would be a lot more challenging.... and cheaper.

I completely agree. Wouldnt have been much different shooting a cow in pasture...

More of a challenge than you might think. They may appear bovine in nature, however they can be very quick and dangerous and incredibly powerful. I’ve been charged by moose and would prefer it over a charging bison. Our family raises them for the commercial market in Alberta. I wouldn’t think of walking among them as I would cattle. I definitely disagree with the plane spotting and the use of two firearms, not what I would consider to be fair chase.

Canned hunts, are fake hunts for the desperate middle age person who's trying to convince themselves, they didn't waste there lives.

This isn't a canned hunt....hunting bison is literally like hunting a cow, the only challenging way to hunt them is with a bow

This would have been a much better hunt to watch if you would actually went and found them and walked and stalked instead of sending a plane to find them, it might as well been a fenced ranch hunt.
