Life at an Off Grid Wall Tent

There is such joy at an off grid property- from waking up in a wall tent to that first cup of coffee to a hard day's work ending with a raging campfire. In between there's lots of work to be done- projects, firewood, cooking, and planning for our future cabin. Beauty, silence, and wilderness is all around, reminding me just how lucky I am to be part of it all. There's nothing like an off-grid property!

What a load of Propaganda from the corrupt and tyrannical government, to the Mainstream Media, who are willing and ready to feed the brainwashed, indoctrinated and dumbed down to Believing in everything the black mirrored screen of the TV shows and tells them. Everything this Government is doing is a violation of the Constitution of the United States of America .... OK I went on a tangent there, lol. See, I Need to get Off the Grid and back to Nature. I never understood why people gave thanks for their food until a life altering event/accident a few years ago. I clearly remember being very hungry and going to bed hungry almost every night. I give thanks for EVERYTHING at this point. Looking back, I can clearly see the arrogance and entitlement, I'm embarrassed to admit. Life has a way of teaching us the lessons that we need to learn and I'm grateful for that awakening. Sending love and light to everyone. Thanks for this fantastic video. New subscriber here. Tuesday September 1st 2020 Hey Brooke, My ... that was a huuuuge spider! I definitely am not a fan of spiders so I totally got it when you said he has to go!! 👌 Love what you're doing to the property! It looks quaint and inviting! 👍 Thanks for sharing your pico recipe, I love Pico too, especially on my eggs and bacon! 👌 Well I have to say when it comes to my steak it has to be well done!! Lol ... I can't have it mooing back at me! And whether it's a good steak or not I still love A1 sauce on mine. A1 sauce just gives it that extra punch the steak needs. By the way the steak and stuffed mushrooms look delicious! I got to hand it to you Brooke, you definitely make the outdoors living look appealing! It's funny because I love the silence too! It's nice when I can hear myself think. Hence, the reason why I love working graveyard shift .. with no one around to bother me. I'm basically My own Boss out here in the high desert, while taking care of County property. It's funny because I agree with you that the night has a different sound to it, than the day does. I love the stars in the sky when I can see them of course. They built up the high desert so much now, that we have light pollution up here. And it's hard to see the stars sometimes at night now. Thanks for sharing Brooke, you're a gem! 👌 God bless you always my friend! Callie Nash from Apple Valley California 🍎🇺🇸

Watching you brought back memories for me from the days I lived with my father and step-mother in Saginaw, Michigan. Breakfast was a great meal and we had scrambled Eggs, bacon, toast, and fresh milk which we received nearly every day during the week from the home delivery man. The table you made using the two stumps is nice and will be nice for awhile and hope it last for several seasons for you all. That is a nice looking area you all have to live at when you want to get away from home and the headaches of life for awhile. The mosquitoes must have been in your tent and bit you while you was asleep and you just noticed it much later. I love my steak well done and do love having A-1 steak sauce with it and some potatoes also with butter on them.

When I was a child we had a wall tent. Not that big or all the stuff but the best people to spend the night with. Then pancakes made over the fire on a cast iron fire. After breakfast I spent as much time as I could before heading to the stables. After a trail ride I came back to camp and we prepped for our dinner and campfire. Then like I've got to swing some more camp before we start cooking.

A campfire or fire in a fireplace/stove with a window even a gas heater glow, rain, gently wind in the trees, snow, rain on a metal roof all have enormous therapeutic value for most people. Rain during camping turns me into a hibernating bear lol. I just want to sleep for some reason.

Oh yeah !! Chocolate cup cake for dessert or break. YUM 😁. Remembering when I camped a lot, first thing after arriving & setting up camp, go out & get firewood , have 3 nice piles ( small medium large ) enough for couple of days. Campfires are the best / first thing in the morning & at night. Ahhhh the simple life

Hi Dave Bring some dryer sheet with you when you go in the woods. wipe your skin & your hair with one sheet you wont even see any bugs around you they will never bite you. I use it all the time when I go out at night at home & every time I go in the woods. Let me know if you try it. You will never buy any bug spray again again. Take care I live in Ontario Canada.

Forget the duck you need to watch out around you I was at the cabin in the out house and the birds sounded like they were fighting turns out they were warning each other that there was a bob cat coming down the paths straight to the outhouse the little beauty walked in front of me took one look and headed straight down the other side of the mountain in nature seems like the animals talk to you and try to warn you of any harm I sure wish I was right there with you enjoying the fire and the crisp clean sounds and feel of nature surrounding you GOD IS GREAT he has provided us with that wonderful thing and all HE asks is that we follow his word and take care of what he has given us and when we follow his word we get to have a long healthy life as a reward there is so much we need to be grateful for we have been so blessed when we open our eyes and hearts to HiM

@@barbarahorne6072 what duck? I wrote to be careful with your eyes when cutting wood. Wear goggles. But good advice about listening to your surroundings. Animals tell us a lot if we pay attention. You stay safe out there! Blessings in Christ Jesus always.

Hello Brooke, from California, San Francisco, I’ve been enjoy watching your videos from beginning. You are such a interesting, brave woman to live by yourself in wilderness. You were talking about your son & daughter before, I’ve never seen your children, wish to see them. Your viewer would love to know you better by little involving your family into your fantastic videos. In this video, when you are trying to kill that big dangerous looking spider in order to not go inside your tent, make sure to zip up your tent & close the entrance, screen door.
