Ive gotten a lot of requests for more on this truck in conjunction with the videos posted.
In this video the truck is being brought back to life and driven back to civilization after sitting abandoned for two decades in the Alaskan wilderness.
My plans are to put the truck back into good operational order in the relative future.

I mput a Dodge W300 4x4 back on the rd on 1975. It had a flathead 6 too. PTO winch. Bad to the bone.

Finding him each day along the journey to drop him fuel was the biggest challenge

Thanks and hope you do shoot some footage. We have a lot of fun with the old trucks. I currently have the engine out of this unit and am in the proccess of overhauling the engine - will try to do a KZfaq of all the work.

Thanks for sharing the videos of your trucks, I live really close to the old EA Patson was sorry to see that place go. How far did you have to drive the truck through the back country to get it out?

there is an old 1957 dodge m-37 power wagon beside a creek near where i live. if i can get enough money together and a video camera i will go and save her. she looks depressed to me every time i go see her. this video makes me want to go and get her right now. good job on the stude yall. at least she can be happier now. good job.

This truck has a JXD in it correct? Do you guys know anything about the JXC?

The JXC used a 3 3/4 piston to the JXD 4' piston. The JXD had a 4 1/4 throw and I believe the JXC had a 4 1/4 throw also. All of the JX engines were built with the same basic design yet some were smaller in physical size. I have a Hercules in a Lincoln welder that I believe is a JXC and it is slightly smaller in physical size than the JXD but looks identical in fact I thought it was a JXD when I bought it. Google Hercano and ask them, they have parts too.
