I really liked this scene. While Alastor doesn't believe in redemption, the hotel is still his project and he's committed to helping it succeed, even though he's certain it will fail. So for him to put his foot down and basically tell one of his own friends to leave and take their problems with them, I think it says alot.

Either he’s telling Mimzy to leave because he’s coming to care for the residents at the hotel or he’s doing what’s right for the hotel as he’s helping Charlie and the hotel’s residents even if he doesn’t care for them.
