Thank you for actually showing Albania somewhat instead of slandering it like many Muslim unfortunately do. Albania is FULL of religious Muslims but it’s hard for them because so much Islamic wisdom was wiped out during the communist era.

thanks for saying that. you are right. there is good movement of people reviving the sunnah. it is small but growing. the old generation keeps saying they suffered through the years of communism however 30+ years have gone and there is no longer an excuse to return to Islam.

Albanians of Albania are mostly secular people. However, I know very well that 80 percent of the population of contemporary Albania are composed of muslims at least nominally. Bosnia is around 60 percent, montenegro 26 , north macedonia 40 , Serbia 5 and Bulgaria 14 percent. Greek Western Thrace around 35 percent and Romania 0.4 percent .Croatia 2 and Slovenia 5 percent . Census datas are hiding the truth for various reasons.All together there are around 11 million autochtonous Balkan Muslims , of whom around 8 million still residing in their ancestoral territories and the rest are scattered around the world mostly for economic reasons. (not including the previous migrant populations prior to 1989(collapse of communism)and their descendants who are around 10 million in Turkey alone and totally inyegrated to the Turkish society )

absolutely...that society will be prosperous. the opposite happens nowadays however. mostly about Artificial intelligence, technology, games , all waste of time

brother, point taken. however i am in the eudcation industry and see this daily. kids are bombarded with subliminal messages where the focus is technology technology and only technology. so there is less time to learn and or memorise quran. this is my point@@daulay3322

In the time of the Byzantine and later of the Serbian and the Bulgarian Empire neither them care about Albania until the ottoman Conquest of Albania Kosov the ottoman funded many infrastructure to the Albania and Albania prosperous and many Albanian are High official in the Ottoman caurt

If by prosperity you mean held back by being in the dark ages with no access to proper schooling and being left behind on European land, then I agree. Basically, the dark ages for Albanians and the main reason they're not more integrated in modern day Europe.

where are you based? usually in summer Albania removes visa requirmement if you have a middle east visa. but definitellay Durres, Elbasan Shkodra Pogradec muslim communities are worth a visit. not mention Tirana of course. hope you do go there one day. you might want to do a balkan tour where you can cross over to kosovo, bosnia all in one trip. it will be worth and a memory to share brother

Canterbury to popular belief the Ottoman never Force the Albanian to convert Islam and they took them 300 years to become majority Muslim like the Bosnian become majority Muslim before the Albania

That a lot of people forget even after Albanian independent from the atom and Empire immediately they are under the Italian occupation and letter the Naz that make the the Albanian country very weak and easy prey for the for the Soviet Union
