actually it is applied to all countries. i know it is a taboo in Latin America but once you embrace Islam , that will come slowly and surely, no rush. important is that you do not commit shirk which means praying or worshipping other than Allah. it took me time (the free mixing thing) after i started praying at the age of 17 for the first time. even in arab countries, it can be difficult but you try your best in any situation. trust me when you please Allah, He will make it easy for you and everyone

As a Muslim Albanian, I find it very disappointing to the direction my people are headed. This can all be lies, or it can also be a coincidence. There are 400k less Albanians in Albania since the last census, and there are over 300k less Muslims since the last census as well. The Christian population has also fallen in numbers. It could be that the vast majority of the decrease of the 400k people were Muslims, but who can really know? I personally believe that dawah should be spread to the country, as currently its future isn't looking bright and will continue only to be a US puppet and adhere to their preferences by not being Muslims, as well as for the EU. They are selling their religion, culture, morality just for some Western recognition which the West doesn't even care for other than to have another puppet state in an unstable region.

@0siStar Apparently some people weren't even asked about their religion during the census, so INSTAT census is more than likely quite inaccurate. And people in the non-denominational category people say it is very likely that there are plenty of Muslims under that category as well.

Albania is not a Muslim country and has never been one in its history. Also the data here is completely wrong. 2024 census says 45% of Albanians are Muslim. But this number is only legacy based as people are mostly irreligious and only 2.5% of all people practice a religion. Our culture and identity has zero influence from religions. Middle Easterners leave us alone. We're a European people through and through.

Going a church regularly does not make a Christian a good one. Zakat are giving all religions, Muhammad or Mekka is not the ticket to paradise. Following Kanun is obsolet also. Hows the situation with halal food in the big cities lile durres and tirana? Is there many halal option? I plan to travel to albania but dont know if there are many halal food spots or if i can believe the ppl if they tell me its halal. Since u said they dont know much about islam, i could imagine they think the same way as non muslims in Europe. Like everything is halal as long as it isnt pork.
