Man, I read these comments and I think, 'what planet do these people live on?' The first 4 minutes of this video are neutral, the next 3 criticize Danielle Smith, and then the rest of the video criticizes Notley. You might notice that if you looked at it objectively rather than automatically froth at the mouth every time you see a CBC logo like every conservative in this province.

Why is it wrong to have a system with the same broken healthcare but also have private healthcare for the people who want to pay for it. So instead of sitting in a waiting room for 12 plus hours you could go pay to see a doctor or have insurance that covers to see a private doctor. I am lost on why that idea gets attacked we can have both systems at the same time.

Because healthcare is distributed under principles of equity and justice: private healthcare is contrary to the CHA so that is why.

Alberta is part of Canada, good or bad. Smith, on the other hand, has made it clear she does not like Canada, and has sentiments that would lead Alberta toward separation. She is not loyal to Canada, and has made it clear, based wholly on some of her actions, that she is not particularly beholden to Canada's Constitution, Bill of Rights and Freedoms, or its laws with regard to ethics. Smith is a front person for the oil industry, not the province, or the country.

Because Rachel Notley doesn't have anywhere near as many scandals - because Rachel Notley is a politician who measures what she says, while Smith is a radio talk show host who says such wild things her staff are basically forcing her to stay away from reporters.

Smith is being given way too much credit. If OPEC had same oil prices during Notley term vs UCP, Notley would have reduced Alberta's debt by 3 times what UCP has done based on statistics.

Always complaining about how poorly you are treated by the federal government when in reality you just hate paying for public services like every other province does.

@@conwaysmith9167 Danielle has not raised taxes, she has only been premier a few months. Danielle is going to pass a law banning tax increases without a citizen referendum. She is also going to lower income tax by 20 percent. Anyone that wants more money in their pocket will vote for Smith.
