Remember, to them, criticism, conversation itself, and all human interaction is just a power game to see who is morally right, smarter, better, etc. These soy-filled fucks will pick a fight with the tide if they think it can get them an iota more of power (since by their very nature they have very, very little physical, romantic, or monetary power).

I’m gonna be honest, “media literacy” is one of the stupidest things I have heard of in a long time. I have legit never heard the term until earlier THIS YEAR, and people like IPOS who use it prove how much they don’t understand what’s in front of their faces. Plus, why use a term like “media literacy” when you can just say “I understood what happened in the movie?”

I took a media literacy elective class in high school back in 2006. It was a pretty good class. Taught us about advertising, including subliminal messaging, television programming, and how news shows are put together. The biggest thing I took away from the class was the wisdom that nothing you see on the TV is there by accident, every aspect of every program and advertisement, it is all carefully planned and done w some purpose. Good class. Not sure about this recent media literacy trend, but I would imagine it is corrupted by modern ideology, like everything else.

Kinda wished the soldiers in the god-awful sequel were given a very similar treatment as the British soldiers from Dog Soldiers. In that 2002 flick, Kevin McKidd plays a private named Cooper who quickly demonstrates being a trained soldier who's already shown to have survival skills and some leadership, even being more badass than the sergeant who's played by Sean Pertwee. One of the best things about the main cast is that they're not stupid. Most of them are trained in what they're supposed to do, fight while their own lives are still intact. Instead of panicking in a corner or trying to run away for their lives, they outright try to kill their enemies, even if they're werewolves who can only be killed by silver. One of the soldiers even lunges at one of the Lycans inside a car when he knew his fate has been sealed.

@@kyon813 I'd imagine Cooper would basically be a slayer if he were to encounter any more of the Jupiter Clan, or at least the mutant families. He'd probably lead a mercenary group sent to kill all remaining mutants after the family from the previous movie got rescued. Funny enough, the other character that survived in Dog Soldiers is a dog. And since Cooper is actually a dog person, it'd be wicked to see him team up with Beast.

Yeah, I always found the "They're just as bad as the bad guys!" idea baffling when this is supposed to be the example. One isn't as bad when they're fending off the people trying to kill them. Becoming the monster is the idea of the few examples provided in the video, that even though you can walk off and be safe after the person has wronged you or your group runs off and maybe unlikely to go after you, that you hunt them down for that slight chance the person will be petty and ruin your life or worse when they did something just as bad or less by the time you get to them; when your actions makes you become someone like Freddy or those who commit evil acts with little to no remorse. Thanks for the video. Now I have some suggestions to go through

I find it interesting that certain circles of the internet will dehumanize someone based on their financial income and that would justify horrible acts being perpetrated on said individual. Yet these people are the ones who will browbeat you with their morality and how superior they are to the common man. Very Dark way of thinking once you remove the outer layers, and I am sure there are no real-world correlations right?
