You cannot deny the brilliance of Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter on Lou's "R & R Animal". The intro on Sweet Jane alone is worth the repeat listens. Those two guitarists also killed it on AC's best album "Billion Dollar Babies". Stoked that you choose Houses. Being a longtime fan of the Mighty Blimp {LZ}. Houses was always my go-to. It was their pivotal/total band contribution album. Apostrophe, Ya Ya's, World is a Ghetto, etc... We have a lot of the same band/artist appreciations JT. Way to go~ Rob/Boston

Alice's best album is BD Babies ! " Let It Bleed" is a Stones LP that I spun 100 as well on vinyl. Glad that we like much of the same bands, Rob ! I rocked out to " Black Dog" on the way to work yesterday... Loud !!! Haha 🤘 Thanks.. I'll see if you have a new video

Hi JT! You weren't kidding when you said you were going to feature some variety here! That Descendents record is worth a small fortune. Women And Children First! Love it! I've enjoyed a few of the Otis Gibbs videos. You are correct, he is a very good storyteller. You mentioned Waiting For Columbus, and I agree that it is one of the best Live albums ever. I remember your video when you found that War album at Bill's Garage! I saw Alice In Chains at Lollapalooza in Toronto, summer of /93. Outstanding! Massachusetts shoutout for the Pixies! Incredible band JT!

It's great seeing Bonnie Raitt...one of those artists that doesn't get much attention but whenever her name is mentioned everybody goes "I LOVE Bonnie Raitt." I saw Gov't Mule do covers of a couple songs you mentioned - Spanish Moon and 30 Days In The Hole. Great stack of records for sure. Thanks for showing them Jt!

Too cool to see Govt. Mule ! I bet "Spanish Moon" was so so good with Warren belting it out ! 30 Days In The Hole" is such an epic tune as well.. Where did you see this show ? Nashville ? Bonnie's first LP is great as well, with "Bluebird" and "I Ain't Blue" is my favorite from that debut..

Great collection of records! Some of these I've never even heard once. Women and Children First is such a great (if too brief) record. The Yes Album is a prog rock masterpiece. Get Yer Ya Yas is my favorite live album. Wish it had been a double. Tonight's the Night might be Neil's darkest record but I love it.

Good to hear from you Jeff ! Tonight's The Night is pretty dark, and rightfully so with the loss of his roadie, and Danny Whitten. Also "On The Beach" is as dark, except for "Walk On" Zuma is pretty awesome as well ! I winged this one, as I wanted to respond to Randy Weaver's idea. Glad you liked my picks ! See you on yours..

Absolutely brilliant batch of records JT. To start with Polly Harvey was fantastic, and a great album. The Bends is also my favourite Radiohead. My fav Sabb is Sabotage, but I have also listened to Paranoid well over a 100 times. I love Houses of the Holly, and the Rain Song is sublime, but I think Zep 3 is probably my most played. Jt, I was not surprised by the diversity of your choices mate. PJ Harvey is a hell of a place to start. She has continued to make brilliant records. I gotta admit I have that Zevon record but I don’t listen to it as much as I should. Descendants are great fun. VH for me has to be DLR. I love the Sabs but I think my most listened to would Vol 4. I love VU & Lou, but I don’t remember if you’ve talked about Cale’s solo records. He had a hot 70’s streak too. Jailbreak yes! I do like Humble Pie a lot, but Steve Marriott in the Small Faces is the ultimate for me. Ya Ya’s can’t be beat. FZ I couldn’t pick one album. Of course Bob Marley 👍 I was more Nirvana than Pearl Jam, but I have grown to dig ‘em. AIC heavy duty stuff. Doolittle is a masterpiece. So glad you squeezed in NY. Again hard to pick just one. I was never a Mirabelli's fan when I lived there. Only went in there maybe a couple times. They had kind of an old fashioned type of feel to the store - stocked the top 40 singles, heavy focus on whatever was on the charts at that particular time. I liked too much off the wall stuff that they didn't seem to stock. They were around for a long time, so must have been doing something right.

Can't remember the name, and I have been going to Recycled Records since the original store on Wells in 1978 ! Thanks for checking this one out..

@@jtsrecordroom3963 You may have missed it, but in the late 90's - early 2000's there was a store on Plumb called the Music Castle. It was to the east of that McDonalds in an old strip mall. Nice store, had a lot of stuff, owner was a nice guy, seemed a little scatter brained, though. I think he thought he was going to put the hurt on Recycled, but didn't work out for him. Last time I was in there he told me he was going to close the store next Monday and I thought he meant he was taking a day off. He meant for good. I think he moved to SLC. You might ask the Recycled guys if they recall that place.

JT I would like to apologize for not getting this video done soonr. Last night I had allergys and i'm also very far behind on videos playoff Hockey going on. I'm sorry. so your nephew is in a Death/Black Metal band how does your Brother or sister feel about that Genre? I heard your answer 3 seconds later ok an album from 1995 Pj Harvey , nice Warren Zevon , the Decendents every think stinks or every thing stinks today , computers , cell phones? nice Van Halen - Woman and children first !!! , nice Bonnie Raitt , Little Feat , sweet Sabbath , Paranoid is also my favorite album to Lou Reed from 1974 classic , sweet Zeppelin - Houses of the holy , War , That's a great album Thin Lizzy on quite a few magazines list of the top 100 like Hit Paradeer , Humble Pie , I have that Alice in Chains - Dirt but on CD!!!! nice Bowie for the decendents what's surf punk and skater punk? I heard you say you were going to be showing all different genres have you listened to these albums over 100 times Jefferson Airplane - Surrelstic pillows? Jimi Hendrix - Are you experinced - Electric Lady land- Axis bold as love,-- Band of the Gypsys? Moody Blues-- Doors - self titled Doors - Morrisons hotel Doors La Woman? Aerosmith - self titled, the 2nd album - Toys in the attic - Rocks- Draw the Line, Night in the Ruts? Lynyrd Skynyrd - Pronounced? Lynyrd Skynyrd - 2nd Helping? Lynyrd Skynyrd- Street Survivors? Jethro Tull - Aqualung? Beatles - Sgt Peppers Beatles - White album Queen - self titled Queen - Night at the opera so in the video you showed Van Halen did you have any albums similar to them say Def Leppard the first 3? I know you told me that Kiss came later but when 1980 came did you buy any Kiss albums from the 70's? did you buy any Iron Maiden any of their albums? so when Formats started to change did you have Black Sabbath Paranoid on Cassette ? what about Van Halen? the only albums I have listened to over 100 times would be the Kiss albums I had them on vinyl never on cassette but I now enjoy them on my walkman over the summer on cd. as far as the other classic albums I want to say around 40 to 60 times depending upon the album so like Ac/dc - Back in Black For those about to Rock, highway to hell in the 60 or so range the self titled album by Iron Maiden closer to 40 times if that. Judas Priest Painkiller about 40 or times.

Hey Mark ! So.. Surf Punk and Skate Punk are the same, really. NOFX, Desendants, and even Ramones were influenced by Surf music of the 60s.

Yes, I have Paranoid and Women and Children first on all 3 formats. I never had 8 tracks, although some of my friends did..

I never bought any KISS until I joined the vinyl community. So many of you are in that KISS age group of guys.. 50 to 60 years old.
