Cools! For anyone asking what plans are available for Metro’s monthly hotspot plans, similar to T-Mobile: $35 (10GB), $45 (15GB) $55 (20GB) $75 (30GB) (with AAL). (single line plans: $70 - 10GB, $80 - 15GB, $90 - 20GB, $110 - 30GB).

@@jamesmantilla2732 I got the one from T-Mobile. If you at a line you get the device for free... basically it’s a credit. The plan you need is Unlimited 6g ($30 dollar plan) and up. If you call or message T-Mobile support, they will charge you 20 bucks. So mention that you tried to get it yourself but it didn’t give you that option. Mostly likely they will wave that 20 bucks. Make sure you have it on autopay. So you can save 5 dollars. I got mine for 6 dollars. I got shipping for free. Now I’m waiting for it to get to me. Hope this helps.

I am using this for the first time right now. It is slower than molasses :( Any suggestions? Should I turn it off when not in use? Buffer...Buffer...Buffer.

Hi Kevin I’m having a problem with my Alcatel I can’t connect to some of my web sites nor my vpn. I haven’t been able to get an answer as to why. Do you know if any reason for this?

Great video. I know you're not an expert on the topic but does it make sense to purchase if my cell is already a hotspot? We camp a lot and I think i need to make the investment on strengthening the LTE sig coming in to our RV but this might be a good choice also as to having a dedicated hotspot with the added frequencies

Mine will never work. All lights are light blue like they are supposed to. Meaning everything is connected and correct. But when try and connect says ready to connect when network quality improves

@@ricosuave7642 when I connect my daughter's laptop from school or her tablet or any other device that is already setup to connect automatically. Sometimes it desconnect from a device by it self. I have to turn off the hotspot device off and then turn it back on, but is annoying to have to do that when she is already in class and suddenly it desconnect by its self.

Hmmm, I'm a bit puzzled by this review. It's not a review of how well the device functions, it's really just a review of the features it has, though these are useless if the device doesn't work well. What I came here for was to see you use it and report on that experience. The listed features are a bonus. This video should be titled, "Alcatel Linkzone 2 (4G LTE Hotspot) - Features Review!

it can be good in cases you need router functions, like with this cameras with internet, you can use out of their apps.

It supports both T-Mobile and Sprint LTE bands, so that makes it fully compatible when the two networks are eventually merged.

If you are able to go online at all then the simcard is already in the device.

@@beasyphone it's a modem Wich is shown in this video that's where your service will come from and you can use your cell phone to access to service the device pictured in this video will provide you, you must go to your local Sprint store or T Mobile or whatever your area has and rent or purchase the modem then just like a cell phone you pay a monthly service for the Internet it like 58.00 a month and you can have like 10 or more devices access at one time if you have more than one user in your location also it portable it travel with you so if your out you take your Internet with ya..hope this helped..

When I use portable hotspots I make sure they’re close to a window so the towers can be picked up. The better the signal...the more bars available

Yeah mine failed after 8 months of use.....now using a spare Huawei 2017 phone as a hotspot and the phone seems just as good if not better Waiting for phone company to replace the value of the alcatel I dont really want another alcatel.....£70 for 8 months use then all four lights on which Ive seen others report and a dead unit.
