🤔 Looks like their trying to upgrade TE for real. Wouldn't be surprised if a vet gets cut or doesn't get resigned if they get cheaper production from the guys on their first contract

I'm not going to put too much into TE Alec Holler signing - YET. 'Cause it's still WAY, WAY TOO "EARLY", BUT: This is ONE OF THE REASONS I didn't understand the Michigan TE Luke Schoonmaker drafting - in the 2nd. round last year. When you already have TE Jake Ferguson on the roster, plus the other TE's on the roster, plus your ability to always find an UNDRAFTED ROOKIE FREE-AGENT TE, WHY: are you "SPENDING" / "WASTING?" a 2nd. round pick on an already OVER AGED ROOKIE TE? You give Ferguson and the other TE's on the roster at least one year to show what they can do, "THEN" if they don't work out, you go hunting for a TE. It's not like Schoonmaker is a ONCE IN A GENERATION TE that the Cowboys just couldn't pass on. That would be "DIFFERENT."
