Honestly, looking chill on stage vs your opponent can make you look like you’re confident and not afraid, not stressed. I can see this being a battle move as well in a way, but it’s clear with their « tag team » on Remix’s bass that they just both were having fun more than anything and not being too try hard about this 😂

I remember seeing a livestream with Zekka, M1klz and Osis where Zekka said the only thing he will prepare for this year will be the test to become a firefighter. But even without much preparation Zekka is one of the best beatboxers in the world :) Deserved win for Remix, glad to see him winning offline battles!

I think a lot of the issue with the round was the venue, unfortunately. It had a metal roof, and they had to turn down the bass a lot, otherwise the roof vibrated really hard, so I think both beatboxers changed how their rounds went a bit because of sound issues.

6:44 zekka points to the roof and says "life never goes as planned" He's saying that because the roof od the venue would shake violently whenever they did very heavy percussion and bass sounds... and most of zekka style is drum and percussion style, so the roof was often shaking and ruining his focus during his sets

I mean, being the responsable for a roof to collapse seems like enough distraction 😅 didn't know this event was that bad they couldn't even focus on beatboxing... Damn. I hope mad twinz learnt from this for possible next editions

I think what we all feel why it’s not special is because they are old routines. The structure and techniques are still perfect but we‘ve heard it so many times before and wanted Zella to come with some new routines

No that's not true at all... the roof of the venue would shake violently whenever zekka would do heavy hitting percussion sounds.. You can actually hear it come through the audio in the recording at parts.

@@asylumental that is something always happens with him, nothing new. It's right he didn't prepare enough, but to be fair he didn't want to win neither, he just went to have fun and a free travel to Bali 😂

Zekka is a top beatboxer but this was Remix's first time on stage so I feel everybody liked this new style they never heard before live.😅

I think the sound mix is one of the main reasons why you can't clearly say what's wrong about some rounds

The crowd looks dead because it was advertised as a festival of sorts not a beatbox battle so it was people expecting more of a rave setting but hey mad twinz made it happen. Also Zekka on his phone was as powerful as remix just chillin

the quality sound production was lower than before for the Beatland battle ( on this YT video of course ) Remix tehcniques was not audible , and Zekka out of rythm ... so Congrat 2 of you and HappY CMAS

Too bad the mic quality was bad but even then u can tell remix killed Zekka. It was a massive battle for him since he mentioned Zekka was an inspiration for him

Remixes song structure and content of his abilities made time disappear, making me want more. Zekkas rounds fell short of me being interested. Which is crazy because zekka started 1st so his 1st round should of been something Remix had to beat, but i felt like zekka didn't really come with a cohesive battle round. Such a shame because i love zekka and i think he has a style that could win competitions

I know Remix was really nervous about battling Zekka so i bet he had spent a lot of time preparing. Where Zekka being focusing on firefighting he wasn't as prepared regardless of skill if Zekka wanted to battle at full power this would've been a different battle.
