Just look at Eva's face at Alice's last note and closure. She slightly lifts her eyebrows and smiles as in "Wow, that was amazing". She was just loving this and so am I!

Do lutenists sometimes get amplification when playing in such big halls?

@@breakfastdinner1576, I've never seen that during our performances but I don't want to exclude that this is necessary for solo recitals in spaces with bad acoustics. Of course indoor and outdoor performances are different, I recall outdoor performances where the lutenists had special mics that they could be heard better but this is certainly an exception.

@@breakfastdinner1576 Not really...it happens sometimes, if needed, but normally you just go with the natural resonances of the instrument, which can be quite generous...
