8-0, wel erg grote nederlaag. Duitsers willen nou eenmaal alles winnen. 2014 tegen Brazilië 7 - 1, Bayern is een superclub maar dat is Ajax ook, beide gevestigde namen

Yeah but that's in games that have some meaning. This was a testimonial and a chance for petty minded Bayern players to get revenge for being humiliated in a proper game in 1973 quarter final or European cup.

It's a f==king testimonial you dick. I think Cruyff scored 2 when Ajax humiliated Bayern in a proper game 4-0 in 1973. When was the last time a testimonial game was anything but a piss around for all concerned?

It was well Bayerns good night. All began fine, Bayern gifted Johann some typical bavarian items. But during warm up the bavarian players were called "nazi pigs" from the audience. At that point they began play seriousely. If Ajax did not answer, for sure it is not Bayerns faut.

@@markpichler9070 Hesse’s book reveals that Bayern would later miss out on signing a young Frank Rijkaard, as his agent, who also happened to be Johan Cruyff’s father-in-law, was still bitter about the events of that November night. Rummenigge would apologise 30 years later for the 8-0 thrashing, but Niedermayer claims that was likely just an act of diplomacy and “we were over the match as soon as we left the stadium.” 4.5 (90.77%) 13 votes

This was late 70s not early 70s and it wasn't a serious game. When it was serious and Cruyff & Ajax were at their peak, Ajax wiped the floor with Munich. Poor Munich players petty mindedness wanted to take revenge on the years they were very much second best. It took Cruyff moving to Barcelona to let Bayern have a sniff of winning the European cup. Had he stayed with Ajax, they'd have probably won it at least twice more.

@@emmanuelmakgopa5136 Either you're as thick as your photo suggests you are or you can't understand a point. Ajax annihilated Munich in 73 when playing in a 'competitive tie'. 5-2 was it? 1st leg 4-0. Cruyff didn't bother playing 2nd leg. ANNIHILATION. This 'testimonial' was played against an Ajax team, probably with many different players than when they were in their pomp. It was a TESTIMONIAL. Yawn. No doubt the Ajax team were thinking of drinks and fags in the bar afterwards and Munich were thinking, this is our chance to get back at them for absolute trouncing we took from Ajax back in 73, when we played against each other in a 'Competitive' game.
@emmanuelmakgopa5136 Жыл бұрын
@@michaelcollins3091 your thoughts are not those of the Bayern players! The 8-0was for the treatment before and during the game it had nothing to do with 73 you're just desperate to make it seem that way! When Bayern best Ajax 5-1 we don't call it an annihilation because we are used to such scores. Crying over 8-0 in a friendly game what an idiot

Why Ajax didnt played 100% if Bayern does? It's Ajax fault. I understand its testimonial game but you have to show something for Johan.

May be you don't know the story behind. The Team of Bayern München has been invited for this testimonial, but when they arrived in the Netherlands, they have been behaved like a kind of shit. The hotel was rubbish, better meant for pigs, the players were blamed as "Nazis", they were spat on and insulted. Very sorry for Johan, one of the greatest player ever, but should the team of Bayern treated like this? Later on, Rummenigge excused at Johan for this behaviour of Bayern, but at this moment, they acted very furious

Was it really that bad? Could it be, that the Bayern players were a little spoiled? I still think, they reacted the wrong way. It wasn't Johan's fault.
