@@akeemguy7331 malacia have been injured regulon was also mostly injured and did not do much when he came on , and to answer your question as why he picks the same players because he does not have a choice these players have been in premier league for many many years and the club decided not to move them on and plus they gave them big contracts so basically manager is powerless against this situation, thats what its been like since van gaal. no manager got the players to replace them because club made them so big. and not every signing will work no manager will have every signing work for them thats just part of the football. however a manager needs time before he can set the pillars right now the pillars of that team ( rashford, shaw , bruno, awb and others ) need replacing and hence comes the recruitment part manager needs help on that aspect to have those players who can actually replace them to sustain the style of play . you cannot say he does not have a style of play just look at what he had done with ajax before coming to united. and when can we say the process has been completed ? thats a difficult question to answer however its not complete when the manager is give the same set of players in important positions . i am not saying erik ten hag is the man to take us to promise land may be he is not but without time and proper structure no body can transform this team.

He wanted rid of maguire and mctominay. Maguire has been his best cb this season and mctominay has saved his job how many times this season? Wasted his transfer budget on players like antony and casemiro (who is finished) but getting rid of players he keeps playing is the answer

@@andyc2433 Maguire & mctominay aren’t good enough to take Man Utd forward. That’s why we need to get rid of players like that to then push the club forwards not keep handing on to these types of players. These 2 players contracts expire in 12 months so don’t expect them to be resigning on longer term contracts. There are 12 players contracts due to expire in next 12 months & that should make a difference

@andyc2433 You need to understand basic tactics to understand why McTominay and Maguire are massively holding United back. As a center midfielder, McTominay is in the 6th percentile (as in bad, not good) for passes attempted per 90 minutes as a center midfielder, 12th percent for progressive passes, 19th percent for interceptions, and 43rd percent for pass completion. United are never going to dictate and control matches with a center midfielder with those terrible numbers. McTominay actively hides from the ball, always passes backwards or sideways, has escaped criticism for years because of his “effort”, and abdicates his real responsibilities as a center midfielder in an effort to poach goals. He is a massive liability for United. And anyone who says “but he scores goals” does not understand the real all around role of a center midfielder. As for Maguire, by his standards he has been very solid this year. But he also single handily prevents United from getting up the field, playing effectively in transition, and playing a high line because he has no pace. United get stretched so much, in part, because the likes of Maguire, Lindelof, and Evans would rather camp on the edge of their box playing in a low block counterattack system instead of getting up and down the pitch. Likewise, the fullbacks can’t get forward and consistently support the attack because Maguire is so slow. And opposing teams will expose Maguire in space and in the channels if the fullbacks go forward. The problem with people like you thinking the likes of Maguire and McTominay have “saved” Ten Hag this year is they are actually holding Ten Hag from how he wants to play. Because neither player will leave United because they will never again make the money they do at United at any other club. And the problem is Ten Hag can them not use them leaving to bring in the players he actually wants in those positions. Maguire and McTominay are nowhere close to be top of the table elite players. They are bottom half of the table quality players who give it their all for United but are nowhere near good enough and haven’t been so for years.

Instead of buying players to replace them, he bought antony and a unproven striker. Already had sancho and garnacho and he goes and wastes a 100mil on a player he doesn't even play. They could have bought kudos for cheaper aswell
