Alex has been lucky to be the face and fight guys that people didn’t like. Being the counter to Izzy helped his career a lot. Someone has to be a heel for someone to rise up. You can shit on hill but some guys need to get in that mindset to be ready to fight, especially a tough fight like Alex.

About the jiri fight, poatan said he will fight whoever the fans think is the hardest challenge for him. He feels like if they say that guy is gonna beat him, that’s who he wants to fight. He wants the toughest challenges the fans think, like a guy good in wrestling, for example. So at the end of the day, if the fans think fighter A or B has to fight him, he will do it, no matter who it is, if they think is Jiri ok, if it’s wrestling guy ok, doesn’t matter. That was his idea. The translation wasn’t that good. He also said he doesn’t want fights fans think will be easy for him, he would feel like if he was cheating the fans, and that’s not what he wants. He wants the toughest possible matchups the fans and organization feel like
