@@REXAZOR Every single fighter (aside from Strickland) has tried to finish Alex on the ground. Jiri submitted Glover, and took down Alex but couldn't do much to him. Jan has a decent ground game too, couldn't submit him. Everyone is sleeping on Alex's ground game. His game is simply to survive and get back up. The problem is, if you chase that submission and he survives, you're going to sleep.

@@oldmedstudent1750 jiri got taken down like 12 times by 42 year old Glover and only subbed him cause he was exhausted 😂 jiri literally lost that fight to a 42 yr old man on points if he had not finished Glover with 20 seconds to go 💀...jans ground game is okay but not near what legit grapplers are. There all strikers end of the day . Alex p trains directly with Glover so his sub defense is improving but he would get obliterated by someone like aspinall lol

@craigyboy4770 I think this is always used as an argument for no real reason. The counter Izzy gave was very well placed and landed perfectly to KO. Despite me hating Izzy quite a bit, I have to admit that the KO itself was very good. Remember, you don't need freakish power to KO. If you can place a punch properly, it will KO or hurt someone very, very badly with minimal power behind it. And with that said, yes, Heavyweights have the freakish power, but they still need to actually place the punch well, or it just won't Ko.

Theres a reason why Alex is above everyone else in this sport. He knows how good he is but also knows what ego can and will do to a person. Hes also been through more mental struggles than most, so mentally he is probably a lot stronger than a lot of people when it comes to pushing yourself to your limits. I also notice how he uses strange techniques. Ones that all fighters are told is wrong.. People should be taking notes when this guy fights.

@justinw1765 the short limited range of motion leg kick, chin untucked and in the air, hands lowered and aggressive forward pressure making for a typically risky, dangerous and even stupid way to fight for most beginners but Alex isn't a beginner
