As a Yankee fan, it was hard to like him at times because of all the controversy and drama he would bring upon himself..I tried to be supportive as much as possible since he wore pinstripes...but I'll admit, he's won me over now that he's retired & as a announcer & analyst..and ppl actually like him more now too so good for him..

I'm a Jays fan, so I wasn't a big fan of A-Rod while he played. But during my only trip to NYC in April of 2005 I took in a Yankees game. A-Rod hit 3 homers, one of which was a grand slam, and got 10 RBIs in total. It was simply incredible to watch.

Man love seeing my boy A-Rod so happy off the field. Trust me as a lifelong diehard Yankee fan I know firsthand we gave this guy hell during his playing days. We just expected so much from him but day in and day out he manned 3rd for us for over 10 years👊🏼

ZP he took steroids to heal faster from his injury. All athletes and even non athletes are prescribed steroids. It’s very common. I just think like other pain meds, he got hooked but he stoped.

Of course a guy with his net worth needs to be a broadcaster, he has to repair the terrible image he's made for himself over the past 2 decades. Why else would he take a job that pays what 500 grand a year? He made 21 million dollars this year for doing nothing because the money was guaranteed to him through his baseball contract. This guy has amassed almost 400 million dollars from his baseball contracts ALONE, this doesn't count money he made from endorsements.
