But I don't think Alex shot himself. I think Tyler is the one who shot him and made it look like a suicide. Think about it. No one seemed to know that Alex "shot himself" except for the adults and Tyler. The others seemed like they didn't know about Alex at all. Tyler had all those pictures of everyone hanging up, but he only took down Alex's photo. And we previously saw that Tyler had gotten a bunch of guns and was hiding them in his room. I think Tyler was planning a school shooting and that all those pictures of everyone that he has hanging up, are on his hit list. Tyler was also constantly getting bullied in school and he even said that he was tired of everything, the school, and everyone's shit. He also was in love with Hannah. What if he wanted to honor her somehow by killing everyone who was on the tapes and made her end her life ? & yeah, he was on the tapes, too, but he believes that he didn't do anything wrong to her. He even told his mom that he didn't need any lawyers because he did nothing wrong. So yeah, I think he was planning a school shooting for himself and Hannah, and that he shot Alex.

The sad thing is.. the same thing that happened to Hannah happened to Alex. He was going through all this shit and got deeper and deeper into depression. And nobody cared or noticed because they were all so worried about Hannah that the same thing happened to him! It's crazy that it happened again and nobody took notice.

He's my fav character in this show. The end made me cry so fucking much because I can't believe he did that. Yes okay, I can but I don't want to believe it. I'm so sorry for him. He has built shit, yes but he recognized it and did not feel well because of it and THAT'S THE REASON WHY HE DON'T DESERVES IT. OMG I CRY AGAIN BECAUSE OF THIS EDIT AND MY FEELINGS AND AHHHH.

I loved how the show was so well put together and showed a lot of clues through out the episodes. Alex showed many signs of being suicidal and wasn't even secretive about it but no one noticed which is what happens in real life all the time. Looking back at it, it was so obvious but I just didn't pay attention to it because I was so focused on Hannah. I remember her talking about the butterfly effect in an early episode and how she wonders if her tapes may set a butterfly effect off and in the end, Alex may be just that. Such a good show.

I love this edit! He's my favorite character on 13RW. Also, Alex isn't dead for everyone to know, he's in critical condition from what we heard in 1x12 and also in 113 Alex called Zach and it was him, not a doctor so yeah.

We were so completely engrossed into Hannah's story that we completely missed HIS signs😲😢I was so angry at myself for that. How can we be good friends and be there for people this way? We should be more more more attentive, we should LISTEN to the words they don't say, we should feel it when they distance themselves and we should do something about it. We should BE THERE for them. We should NOTICE them😢😢😣😣😣😭😭😭AND IF IT'S US, WE SHOULD TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT IT. ANYONE, HECK EVEN A STRANGER. WORDS KEPT INSIDE, WORRIES KEPT INSIDE KILL YOU.

OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING!!! Incredible video to Alex, I also really loved him because out of everyone that sat at that table he still called Hannah his friend and was ashamed of what he did. It breaks me hearing what happened to him. Also, this was such a perfect song choice!!! My heart is now broken (again)!

I remember reading the book 4 years ago and thinking Alex Standall doesn't sound too bad, I mean, he did place her as Best Ass in class but other then that, it didn't seem bad. It was a joke. But when Hannah added on how it placed a target on her back and how she was getting sexually teased and such, I didn't like it one bit. But I still admired Alex in the book because he denied the rumors of him and Hannah having sex, etc. But what I love about the show Alex Standall is that it adds on to his character and I just loved it! I guess what I'm saying is that Alex was my favorite person in the book (other then Clay & Tony) and now, he's my favorite in the show! (:

The only show that actually showed what really happens in teenagers life and showed that they don't over dramatize things and that when they say they are depressed or whatever that they actually are.....and these things that happen they actually do....and how it's not just something to by pass these things actually happen

It's so sad how we were so into listening to Hannah's story, we didn't really get to see it fully from their perspective. I knew all the time that Alex was depressed, and possibly suicidal, it really showed in the scene where he falls in Bryce's pool, and just floats around. I kind of already knew he was going to commit suicide,, but a big part of me didn't really wanna believe it. The sad part is, they made this show so realistic. This is what a lot of people go through across the world. Not only the depression, but the rape and bullying too. And sadly a lot of those people doesn't get help, because we're focusing on something, or someone else. We don't really see their pain until its too late.

Everyone has their own opinions of if Alex is dead or not and this is mine i think that Alex has survived but in critical condition, and i think that his dad texted Zach to call him because you can send messages from the lock screen but cant call - if Zach texted Alex multiple times, they would have popped up on the lock screen and Alex's dad probably texted Zach back to get him to call (maybe he doesn't know the phone password). thats what i think, and it makes most sense. regardless of whether he's ok or not, if he's got such an injury, he wouldn't be calling anyone a day after. In hospitals you generally aren't allowed to call anyone if you're the patient.

My favourite character from the series. Can't say I didn't think about that he might try to kill himself. I was actually thinking a lot more kids will do that as the show progressed but I saw Alex was having the hardest time dealing with everything, despite his minor role in hurting Hannah. Heard there is season 2 coming and I really hope he'll make it out alive. Would be interesting to get inside his head for a change and view everything from his perspective, as well as the other kids. Alex seemed most troubled and complex beside Clay. The last episode was the most painful to watch. God ,what a masterpiece of a tv serie it was

I think that the official reason for his death (if he is dead and I really hope he isn't) is suicide, but there might be more to that. Maybe Tayler or one of the others has something to do with it, but I guess we'll only find out if they make a second season :/

IMA_REINDEER _YO **** SAME. It showed Tyler buying guns and he had pictures of each of the 13 people and when Alex 'died' (in critical condition/ shot himself) he took it down. It would also explain why the aim wasn't perfect because if hw shot himself in the head right up to it, he would probably die right away and not be 'in critical condition'. I think Tyler wanted or wants to kill every of the 13.
